When Scott woke up, he was on the ground. It was light outside. He felt his phone in his pocket. He checked the date.

August 10

He sighed. It was a Monday. He looked around. He was surrounded by strangers.

Only one was awake. He was tall, dark skinned, and muscular. Something about him was familiar, but Scott couldn't place what.

The man looked over and saw Scott. He smiled.

"Did we go out drinking or something? Who are you guys? And where am I?" Scott asked.

The man shrugged. "Don't ask me, man. I have no clue either."

Slowly, more people started waking up.

"Okay look," the man said, "None of us know what's happening. Let's just go in there." He pointed out the door

Slowly everyone got up and left the room. They walked into a living room/kitchen thing. "Wait why are you guys in my house? Who are you?" The lone girl asked. She got Scott's attention and he became aware of the presence of the others.

The girl, who was beautiful with black hair, a few tattoos, and kind demeanor, the guy Scott saw before, a skinnier, dark haired guy with a mullet and tattoos, and another dark skinned guy with short hair and a kind face.

"Can I just say the elephant in the room?" Kind face guy asked. They all nodded.

"I feel some kind of connection to you guys. I don't know what it is, or why, but something tells me that I know you. That you're my best friends, and that I love you. But I don't remember how, or who you are."

They all agreed. Scott felt a song stuck in his head.

"I'll run
I'll run
I'll run, run
To you."

They all looked at each other. Scott could tell they all knew it too. They knew it by heart.

"Let's just go about our lives," Scott decided, "and if we're meant to be together, we're gonna be together. But if this is just some weird coincidence, the universe won't let it happen."

He smiled at them. "I'll run to you," he said, causing a little smile to grow on each of their faces.

"I'm Scott, by the way."
"Kevin,"
"Mitch,"
"Kirstin,"
"Matt,"

"Nice to meet all of you." Mitch said. "But I have work." He checked his watch. "Better go, I guess.

He walked towards the door. "Love you!" He hesitated. That had just come out. "Sorry. Just an accident," He explained.

Kirstin turned to look at Scott. "I don't think any of this is an accident."
