Acquisition
Diamond Sand Drakes were released into the Main Pet Shop and cost 200 Coins. They can be bred or purchased from other players.
Breeding
Breeding a pair of Diamond Sand Drake requires 1 green stone. They have 1-2 babies per litter and require 15 days to gestate. The gestation period can be lowered to 5 days by using pregnancy potions. They cannot be used to breed hybrids at this time.
Encyclopedia Entry
The sand drake is believed to be a distant relative of dragons, and scientists have discovered what could be the tiny vestigial bones of wings hidden beneath its skin. This dog-sized animal is a top predator in its island environment, and hunts in groups, by chasing its prey down and killing it with its powerful claws and beak. It is quite fast, and has a lot of endurance. A sand drake will share any prey that it catches with the rest of its pack.
The Diamond Sand Drake gets its name from its rhombus and diamond-shape patterns on its body. This sand drake is believed to be related to the Club, Spade and Heart Sand Drakes. Some say that owning one of each of these four sand drakes will bring prosperity and good luck.
