ALEX’S POV:

“Hello?” Someone answered.

It wasn’t Luke, obviously, it was a girl who answered it.

“Oh… sorry- uh- wrong number.” I tried to stop myself from shaking.

I hanged up first.

“Who were you calling?” Jessie asked me.

“Uh… no one.” I answered, locking my phone.

It was 7:00 pm and I was on my tumblr just randomly looking when my phone rang.

Ashton’s name popped out on my phone screen.

I grabbed it and walked towards my balcony, making sure that I closed the glass door.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Hey!” I can hear Ashton smiling.

“How’re you?” I asked him, frowning, knowing that he left just three weeks ago.

“I’m good.” Ashton answered. “You?”

“I’m good too.” I tried to smile.

“Hey… can you do me a favor?” Ashton asked.

“Sure.” I answered. “What is it?”

“Can you look down your balcony?” Ashton asked.

I walked towards the front of my balcony and looked down.

There I saw Ashton looking up at me, smiling big.

I was so happy and excited at the same time.

I hanged up my phone and ran inside my room, throwing my phone on the bed and ran downstairs.

I heard Jessie’s and Feb’s footsteps behind me.

I opened the front door and ran towards Ashton.

He carried me and spun me around. He placed me down after two spins.

“How’re you?!” I asked, still can’t believe that I’m holding him.

“I’m good!” Ash answered.

“Oh my God! I missed you so much!” I shouted.

“Hey Ashton.” Jessie greeted him.

“Hey Jess.” Ash greeted back.

“So… nice to finally meet you.” Feb said.

“Uh… nice to meet you too?” Ashton said… well… more of asked.

“I’m Feb by the way.” Feb brought out her hand for Ashton to shake.

Ashton politely shook Feb’s hand.

“I’m Ashton.” He said.

“Come in.” I said while pulling Ashton inside.

“Hey Alexa-“ My dad stopped once he saw Ash. “Who is he?”

“Um… dad-“ I started. “This is Ashton.”

“And you’re here because?” My dad asked Ashton.

“Uh… sir. I’m here for your daughter.” Ashton answered with a smile.

“Why what did my daughter do to you?” My dad asked again, walking towards me.

My dad held my forearm and pulled me away from Ashton.

“Dad.” I looked at him.

“What? I’m just asking.” My dad said.

“I am actually courting your daughter, sir, and I am here to talk to you.” Ashton said.

“Courting?!” My dad shouted, looking at me.

“Dad calm down!” I said while rubbing his arm, trying to calm him down.

“But I need to talk to your daughter first, sir.” Ashton said, sincerity clear in his eyes.

“About what?” My dad asked.

“Dad… please let him just talk to me.” I said.

I looked at Ashton.

His face was serious and it is very obvious that he really wanted to talk to me about something.

“Jessie and February will go with you.” My dad said.

“No dad!” I protested.

“No! You listen to me-“ My dad was cut off my Ashton.

“Please sir.”
