"Don't worry hyung! He's really nice!" Namjoon fiddled his thumbs anxiously as Jimin comforted him over the phone.
"Jin will be the perfect roommate; he's tidy, nice, and an amazing cook!" Namjoon smiled weakly even though Jimin couldn't see it.
"Okay. Thanks Jiminie." They exchanged goodbyes and the call ended. Namjoon let out a heavy sigh he'd been holding in. Today was the day he'd meet his new roommate, Jin, and despite Jimin's constant reassurance, Namjoon was petrified. This would be the first time he'd have to live with someone before getting to know them. His previous roommate, Jungkook, was a childhood friend, but ever since he decided to move in with his girlfriend Namjoon has been putting off getting a roommate. That is, until Jimin came to him wondering if he'd room with a friend of his, Jin. Namjoon eventually agreed after Jimin begged him adorably. Little did he know it was the death stare Yoongi gave Namjoon as his boyfriend practically lay on top of him that finally made him agree.
Since he had never really had a proper roommate before his mind was running wild with possibilities. Would he try and throw parties here? Kick Namjoon out to hook up? Not care if Namjoon was in the next room and hook up anyway?
His flurry of thoughts were interrupted by a series of knocks at the door. Namjoon shot up from where he was seated on the couch almost falling over in the process.
"Coming!" He called before who he assumed was Jin could knock again. A few long strides had him at the door, and the terrifying over protective nature of Yoongi over his boyfriend pushed him to open it.
In front of him stood an incredibly handsome man about his height. He was dressed head to toe in something Namjoon couldn't identify, but it looked expensive.
"Hey! Im Jin." The man offered his hand and Namjoon shook it smiling as genuinely as he could.
"Namjoon. Come on in." He turned his attention to Jin's luggage, "I'll grab your stuff." Jin thanked him and walked past Namjoon, and into the apartment.
As you walk in there was a kitchen on the left that had obviously never been used based on the lack of utensils. Past that was the living room, it was just big enough to comfortably fit a nice couch which sat parallel to the TV.
"Down there is your room, on the left." Namjoon said pointing down a hall to their right. Jin nodded and began to head to where Namjoon had pointed. "The bathroom is right there, and just past that is my room." The younger said as he put down Jin's belongings.
"Thanks Namjoon." Jin smiled gratefully at him.
"No problem!" Namjoon returned the smile with one that made Jin's heart skip a beat. His straight white teeth were on display along with his adorable (yet somehow sexy) dimples. Jin cleared his throat before speaking again so he wouldn't make a fool of himself, "Then I guess I'll start unpacking."
"I'll leave you to it., let me know if you need any help. I'll be in my room!" Namjoon smiled one more time before turning towards his room, his face dropping and numbness washing over him.
I miss him...
