"Addison!! Hurry!! You're gonna be late!!" My Mom is screaming from downstairs.

I take a deep breath as I stare myself at the mirror.

I just came out and now everybody knows I'm gay.

My mom knows I'm gay and she doesn't care at least.

And now I'm finally free or am I??

I don't know. I guess I'm just nervous or excited I can't tell.

I push back my glasses and smile at the mirror.

"Addison girl!! You're fabulous okay? And everything is gonna be alright" I smile.

You might wonder how did I came out to everyone??

Well sorry to disappoint you. I didn't. Intentionally.

You see there's this girl who likes me and force herself to me.

Her name is Jade.

At first I just thought she just wanted to make friends! But no. She wants it to be more than that.

So I told her the truth so she won't be hurt for so long.

It was homecoming and she became my partner at the dance.

But I really see her as my best friend.

We were dancing to One Direction's Best Song Ever.

When she grabbed me backstage.

"Addison you know we're like friends since the beginning of High school right??" She smiled.

"right!" I smiled excitedly thinking she'll invite me to party with her sister's friend from college which are so cool.

"so I wanna take this to the next level" she smiles.

Suddenly I noticed that everything and everyone else started to be quiet. It's so quiet that I'm thinking Homecoming's over.

"oh my gosh of course I wanna go party with your sister and her friends from college" I smiled.

"uhm no I'm actually asking you to be my boyfriend" She smiled.

"oh. What??!! Are you sure?? Or you've mistaken me for someone I get that all the time" I smiled.

"No. Addison Montgomery will you be my boyfriend" She smiled.

"oh my gosh... Jade... I'm sorry... But... I'm gay" I tried to smile awkwardly.

She stared at me shocked as ever.

"please say something" I smiled.

"Oh fuck!!" She panicked.

"oh my gosh I know you're pissed but I promise you I'm still me" I tried to calm her down.

"No I'm not pissed at you. It's just that there's a microphone please check if that's on!!" She tried to calm herself down.

I checked the microphone and it's confirmed.

"yes it is on" I sighed and turned it off.

"oh we're fucked" she stared at the floor nervously.

"of course we are! I just came out to you and to everyone" I sighed.

"I'm not allowed to have a boyfriend and now my mom knows I'm the one who ask you out... I'm sorry"

"it's okay Jade"

So yeah we waited backstage until everyone went home.

Jade's mom our English teacher. Picked us up and is thankful I'm gay.
