Scott McCall was Liam Dunbar's mentor in all things wolf and teenager. Whatever Scott was or had, Liam was destined to follow in his footsteps, but he didn't expect to get caught up in a forbidden romance worse than Scott ever had with his first love, Allison Argent.
Colette Burgess was everything that Liam had wanted since the second grade when she moved from Doncaster, England to Beacon Hills, California. Finally in their freshman year of high school, Liam worked up the courage to ask Colette out, and they had been happy as one could be ever since. But, when Liam is bitten by Scott on a rooftop that fateful night, everything changes for the worse.
