Chapter Nine: A Walk In The Night

Start from the beginning

Back with Diana and Braedey, the two of them have reached a special viewing spot on a lone hill, which overlooked Merrillville, whilst having an unobstructed view of the stars and the moon above them.

Diana sat down on the ground, pulled Braedey out from between her breasts, then placed him gently down on the ground. "This is a nice view, isn't it?" She asked. "I figured we should sit here and look up at the stars."

"Yeah." Braedey replied, but to Diana, it didn't sound like he was okay. "It's nice. It looks..."

The giantess looked down to her human friend, and saw him walk over to the edge, looking out into the distance. It was like his mind was off somewhere else. She has never seen this side of Braedey before.

Braedey sighed to himself, his eyes showing what looked to be reliving some kind of memory that he wishes not to remember. But, over the time since it happened, no matter how much he wishes to have it gone, it remained with him. He then began to hum a quiet tone, and as he did so, he began to lightly sing, his voice feeling slightly hitched, getting Diana's attention.

It's been a long day, without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way, from where we began
Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again...

Diana looked down to Braedey, and to her surprise, she could see what might be tears rolling down Braedey's face. She's never seen Braedey cry, so this was completely strange to her. Since she's met him, he was adventurous and carefree, but now, he seemed broken, sad, and lost.

"Braedey?" Diana's voice snapped the brunette out of his thoughts, as he looked at the giantess. "Are you okay?" She asked quietly.

Braedey nodded. "Y-Yeah." He stuttered, wiping his tears away with his hand. "I'm just... thinking." He looked out to the horizon again. "It's hard to think... that it happened not too long ago..."

"What happened?" Diana asked in concern for her human friend.

"Jane." Braedey replied solemnly.

"Who's Jane?" The giantess asked.

"She was a friend back from primary school." Braedey explained. "She was even my first crush." He reached into his pocket, taking out his wallet, then pulled out a picture of Jane Harrison.

Jane Harrison is a young girl who looks to be around Braedey's age, with deep blue eyes, emphasised with her fair skin, with two "beauty marks" under both of her eyes, which are two small dots. She has a slim waist and hips, and a slender chest, with long, straight black hair that fell to the middle of her back. It's cut in the traditional Japanese 'princess style'. She is wearing a white t-shirt, along with a white skirt reaching down to the bottom of her knees, a pair of blue wristbands, and white sport shoes, along with a light blue jacket.
