If those we're supposed to believe break our trust who are we supposed to trust?
Do we continue to be naive and just receive what we've known to have leaved?
The system's corrupt sorry to interrupt
Anyone can switch sides at any given time
Who's to guide if everyone going to divide?
Everyone's trying to climb up not caring what gets involved
Some cheat in order to repeat power hungry cycle
To put it bluntly everyone's a bit ugly after they show their true colors
Guess they wanted a break through by using you
It's not something to play around with lightly
But I suppose the word does not carry any real weight any longer
It is simply thrown away like the word love who would have known?
Something so special could have ended so pretended
Now who's to know if i'm actually telling the truth?
I could be complying with this chain of events
Just like the presidents.
