Laxus pov

Hmmmm this at this point the old geezer will never give me the guild, I'm getting hungry Im going to ask (y/n) if she wants to tag along

" hey (n/n) what are you doing today " I asked looking at the pink haired dragon slayer

" nothing really probably going to get some food soon I'm getting hungry " she said smiling at me how cute is she I thought

" i was just going to grab some lunch too, do you wanna come "

" ya sure that sounds awesome, but I also have to tell you something when we're done eating " she looked down and smiled at Bear

" bear hunger can he come too " bear said happily

" ya why not " I said but in the inside I wanted to spend alone Time with (y/n) then we left the guild and we're out in the town

" Hmmm were do you wanna go " I asked curiously

" Ohh there is a really good coffee shop not to far away from here we could get tea and crumpets " she said smiling with stars in her eyes

" thats fine with me " i said blankly

" ok then follow me " she then took my hand in hers, her hand was so small compared to mine but it was so soft and warm

Time skip to after eating

(Y/n) pov

We just finished eating and left the coffee shop and now we're at the park

I guess it's now or never to tell laxus's I'm leaving on a s class mission that will take a year, all i hope is that he doesn't get to mad at me i hate to see him mad especially when it's me he's mad at

" you wanted to tell me something after we ate, what was it? " laxus said looking at me

" well......Ummmm.......it's.....ok.... Well me and bear are taking a s class mission and we'll you see its just were going to be gone for almost a year so I wanted to tell you so you don't worry " I said looking down at the grass below my feet

" why dont I come with you " laxus said lifting up my head by my chin to look at him

" laxus its bear and (y/n) mission " bear said

" but what is going to happen to you while your gone " laxus said i could hear hurt in his voice

" laxus I'll be fine I have bear and it will only be a year don't worry I'll come back I promise " I said giving him a reassuring smile

" promise me you won't change " I said

" I promise if you promise me that when you come back you'll be safe and sound " laxus said

" I promise " I said hugging laxus then he hugged back and said " good "

Time skip to 2 hours

(Y/n) pov

It was sunset and the 3 of us were walking to the train station then we finally got to the train station

" goodbye (y/n) " laxus said As we walked off I stopped walking turned around and looked at him then said

" don't say goodbye it's too sad, say see ya later alligator it means you know you'll see them again " I said Then I turned back around and walked off
