The Endless River [2014]
Only 3 albums where released under the leadership of Guitarist David Gilmour, and the Endless River looks to be the first of the three on our worst to first journey.
The Endless River contains projects and unreleased music before Keyboardist Rick Wright's death in 2008. The Endless River seems like a short, sweet but simple album, and you'd be correct, if the album was short, sweet but simple.
But is that how it's supposed to be?
The Endless River is a compilation album, which contain tracks that were recorded in 1968 and 1993, and original tracks from 2013 to 2014. My personal take on the album is that is I love how it brought back lost music from the past. Many bands who have lost members or who want to retire seem to do this right after a member's death or before retirement.
All and all, I give the compilation album a solid 7
