My Perfect Day.

245 45 11

I will lay my back on the green field,
Peacefully soaking up the sun's rays without being concealed,
By the shadows of doubt, anger and fear,
Only observing the wonderful world with sheer revere.

I will marvel at the wonders of the world exhibited through the clouds,
And the cool, soft breeze that the weather will arouse.
In my left hand, the most classic book,
And in my right, a basket of food by the best cook.

The only sounds,
Will be music from feathered creatures,
And the flapping wings of the butterflies,
Each with their distinctive features.

I wouldn't mind some light showers,
Accompanied by teasing drizzles after a few hours,
That will delicately brush my face,
And be the only blissful invader of my personal space.

This is my idea of a perfect day,
And I wouldn't want it any other way.
