The Devils Spawn Part 9

“Look Danny, isn’t it beautiful up here” I nudge him and I see him slowly open his eyes and look at the view on front of us.

He nods slowly “I’ve never seen the town like this before, it’s beautiful at night, with all the lights on in the building and the street lamps shining” he rambles on about the view on front of him and I smile down at him.

“I didn’t mean that view, but that is pretty nice too, I meant to view right here on front of me” I lift his chin so he is looking into my eyes, I see his cheeks turn from a pale color to a pink color. I lean down slowly and kiss him with every fiber of my body.

I hear his breath hitch and he slowly kisses me back, his hands snakes from my chest up to my shoulders and onto the back of my neck playing with my hair a little. I shiver when his cold hands meet my warm skin and feel the Ferris wheel slowly start back up again.

Our car reaches the ground again and we step out hand in hand getting some odd looks from people but that wouldn’t falter my mood in any way possible, I feel like I’m the luckiest guy alive with Danny next to me, he always makes me feel like this.

“That was brilliant, I’m sorry I doubted you it’s just I have a really bad fear of heights but something in my head told me you wouldn’t let anything happen to me and even if something did you would be there for me” he tells me becoming his shy and nervous self again.

I nod “Danny it’s ok everyone has something they fear, it’s not wrong to have fears, I wouldn’t let anything happen to you because I’m always going to be here for you” I tell him giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.

He nods and shivers a little, we watch as the sun sets over the carnival, I watch as the moon moves as the same time as the sun and takes the suns places above us and the sun starts to hide behind the horizon. It suddenly becomes a lot colder than before and I feel Danny shiver next to me and I take my jacket off and put it over his shoulders and take his hands in mine.

“If you were cold you should have said something to me” I tell him as I blow into our hands and rub my hands quickly over his to keep them warm.

He watches me “You’ll freeze without your jacket on” his teeth chatter and I chuckle at him.

“No I think you’ll freeze without it” I zip my jacket up on him and wrap my arms around him, “Let’s go home and ill order us some take out and we can laze around and watch movies all night long” I tell him as we begin to walk to my car.
