*Tony’s P.O.V*
It’s been a few weeks and Daniel and I have had the best few weeks of our lives, we have been on a couple of dates since the night I asked him to be mine. Our most recent date was to the local carnival where we spent the day enjoying ourselves, buying and sharing candy floss and winning teddy bears. I can honestly say that was the back day of my life and we had so much fun. I know it’s a little cliché but I couldn’t help ask him to get on the Ferris wheel with me.
“No! Not a chance am I getting on that death trap!” he glares at the Ferris wheel on front of us.
“Awh please get on this one thing with me, this is all I’m asking you to do” I whine and give puppy dog eyes.
He sighs and looks at it and then back to me “ok, just this one thing and then that’s it” he tells me and I nod.
I take his hand in mine and get us two tickets and get on the cue for the Ferris wheel, I watch as couples get on and off and I look down at Daniel with a smile on my face, “Don’t worry you’ll be fine” I kiss his head.
As we get closer I can tell he is really nervous now but I won’t let anything happen to him while we are on it. We climb into our car and I hold his hand tight “Don’t be nervous, I’m right here next to you and I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise” I kiss his cheek and the Ferris wheel starts up again making him jump but I hold him close to me and I can feel him relax.
We finally reach the top of the Ferris wheel and I look at him, his eyes are closed are closed tight and his hand is gripping mine like a snake gripping its prey, sucking every bit of life out of it. The Ferris wheel jolts to a stop and Danny almost jumps from his skin. I chuckle and hold his hand tight reassuring him that everything is ok.
