"Hello, I'm jaehyun," Jaehyun said bowing polietly, and giving her a small smile as he sat down next to her
Sooyoung couldn't really respond right away but she woke her self up from the daze that Jaehyun's eyes had her in and she gave him a small head bow, smiling nervously as she offered her hand to shake.
"Hello, I'm Ha Sooyoung, you're new desk mate" She said as she stuttered a little and blushed in embarrassment, Jaehyun shaking her hand and was kind of shocked at how warm her hand was
"It's nice to meet you, and welcome to Divino High, I've never seen you around here other than your sister" Jaehyun said smiling a little as she nodded
"Okay, I'll start the lesson now, Jinsoul please shut the lights off" The teacher said as she pulled down the projector and Jinsoul went to cut the lights off, and the whole class went silent
"You knew my sister?" Sooyoung whispered curiously at jaehyun, and he nodded
"I knew her but I usually never really talked to her, despite being in the same friend group" Jaehyun said lowly as Sooyoung nodded and her lips formed in a "o" shape
"Well, it seems a lot of people knew her since they couldn't stop starring at me this morning" Sooyoung whispered as Jaehyun chuckled quietly
"Well, Get used to the stares since they always starred at your sister and you will be no exception to it, which I can't blame them for starring at you" Jaehyun whispered as he winked at her playfully, making Sooyoung chuckle quietly and nod her head
Taeyong looked over at them, and he didn't know how he felt. He wasn't attracted to her but maybe he was pulled in from her features, the same ones that Seoyun used to reel him in the first time he laid eyes on her.
The bell rung after 30 minutes and all the students left class but Jisun and Sooyoung were told to stay behind.
"Jisun, your mother asked me to tell you that you are going to show Sooyoung around the school" The teacher said as she rearranged papers at her desk
"But i have class" Jisun said
"You're excused for the next hour, it's the first day of school, you won't be learning anything important today" The teacher said chuckling as she handed Jisun an excuse form
Jisun sighed and nodded, waving her hand to signal Sooyoung to follow her.
As they both walk along the empty halls, Jisun shows Sooyoung where her classes were at, and the whole time Jisun didn't dare to look at Sooyoung or make eye contact with her, and Sooyoung noticed this.
"Jisun, You know you won't turn into stone right?" Sooyoung said chuckling
"What?"
"You haven't even looked at me for the past 20 minutes, you didn't even introduce yourself to me either, it's kinda rude in a way" Sooyoung said playfully as Jisun blushed red and bowed
"Sorry, i didn't mean to come off that way, it's just that You look just like Seo-" Jisun said slowly looking up at Sooyoung, who was immensely taller than her
"Seoyun right? I don't blame you, You're probably really freaked out huh?" Sooyoung chuckled as they both kept walking down the halls, Sooyoung looking forward while Jisun still looked up at her
"Yeah, it's just that your sister really never told anyone about you, and it's just shocking since I thought we were close friends, and we had to find out from other people and not her" Jisun said
"Yeah, I'm just finding out that my sister kept a lot of things a secret, she even hid many things from me, so don't feel too bad" Sooyoung said frowning a little as she looked down at Jisun, giving her a small smile, making Jisun feel more at ease
They were about to turn the corner into another hallway until Jisun holted and she pulled Sooyoung back, not letting her go any further into the hall.
"What is going on with these two?" Jisun whispered quietly to herself, raising her finger to her mouth, signaling for Sooyoung to be quiet, and both of them sticking their head out to see the two people who were out in the hall.
"Why did you drag me out here for Johnny?!" Yeeun said as she had her back against the lockers while looking up at Johnny, who towered over her
"Because you're avoiding me, Yeeun. You can't just act like nothing happened this summer" Johnny said with a hurt expression and Yeeun just shook her head
"I'm not going to talk about that right now, especially right here" Yeeun said angrily
"We have to talk about it sooner or later, we can't keep putting it under the rug" Johnny said sighing tiredly
"You want to talk about it like it meant something, as if it were so important for us to even speak about" Yeeun said as Johnny's expression dropped and words couldn't explain how hurt he looked, even Sooyoung seen it and she felt bad for him
"You're right, it meant nothing, sorry for the inconvenience" Johnny said lowly as he looked at her one last time before walking away
After he was gone, Yeeun let out a angry grunt and kicked a locker, her breathing was heavy as she tried to calm herself down.
"You can come out now, Jisun"
