You had this habit of trying to convince me to close Willis' early.

I was headstrong and stubborn so I never gave in; it was my job and responsibility to close when I was required to.

You tried to convince me otherwise, anyway. Kept coming in spouting out new reasons to aid the support of your case, including: my boss was "horrible" and "didn't treat me right", there were no customers after ten-thirty except for you, and I could actually get home and fall asleep before midnight.

Despite your enthusiasm and determination to sway my initial decision, I still didn't give in. And it frustrated you to no end. You would run your hands roughly through your hair in playful agitation and throw this snarky facial expression at me.

I know you were trying to convey your unhappiness with me, but I just thought it was cute.
