You were always interested in playing piano, but you could never afford lessons. You were raised in a family that could only afford the bare house necessities and a few luxuries but definitely no music lessons. That's why when the mysterious boy in...
It was the day before I started the last year of college. I checked everything was ready; my equipment, dorm key and some other random crap. By the time I had finished triple checking (I am very organised and OCD) I decided to go to town for clothes shopping. But before I go shopping, I need to get changed.

Now, one thing you should know is I am a tomboy and don't like dresses or skirts like I did in year 1. Most boys like that kind of girl I guess which is why I'm still single. I ended up finding a few nice clothes.

I literally have only 1 friend, and she's probably one of the most popular girls in college. Her names Aria. A lot of people wonder, how does a quiet potato like me end up besties with the most popular girl on campus? Well, me and Aria go way back. Since nursery. That's where we met. I haven't always been this quiet, we had a few other friends growing up, but we stopped talking and drifted apart. But me and Aria stood together through thick and thin. I'm the only family she's ever known. Her whole life she has been in and out care and foster homes. My mom parents tried to adopt her but they couldn't because they already had me, my to brother and my sister and we couldn't afford a bigger house, but Aria still came for dinner and sleepovers! I should also explain my whole family situation. My grandparents never offered to support us and my parents work many jobs since they haven't got any proper qualifications. When I was a bit older I would have to go straight to my sisters school and pick her up because my parents would be at work and look after her on some days. We managed to cope and I got a job to help pay for my college. Now, my parents are working 2 jobs and earning enough money to keep the house, buy dinner and help pay for my college. I told my parents I'd move out into a college dorm when I start my first year to help save money. They were a bit skeptical at first but managed to agree. Now, we are all doing fine.
I started walking home with a bag of shopping in my hand. Since I have a key, I unlocked the door walked in and locked it behind me. "Hi Y/N! What's this?" Asked mom. "I thought I'd do some shopping for you." I replied. "But we've already done this weeks shopping." She told me. "Well you can have this for next week." I said. "Just take it to your dorm!" "I can't because there's no electricity there yet until tomorrow so I have to keep it here for now." "Oh fine!" She gave up. "Don't forget to give Aria our love." "Of course I will mom." "Is the dorm all ready?" Dad asked. "Yep. I'm leaving tomorrow morning." "Why not leave today?" Piped Ivy our of nowhere. "Because, it's better to spend my last day of the summer holidays with you! Unless you don't love me.." I teased. "Oi shut up." She replied. "Watch your tongue!" I spat back. "I'm going out with Aria we're gonna go for a walk. I'll be back later." "Ok be careful honey." Said mom. She pulled me in for a kiss on the cheek. I'm not a toddler wtf mom. "I will... bye." I said. "Bye Y/N" said dad as I walked out of the house while talking to Aria.
