Well, here we are yet again. It's been a few weeks after I'd written that the next chapter of the story (in a new book, no less!) would be here in a week. Unfortunately, I have a habit of spreading myself a little thin at times, and these past few months have been just such a time.

Along with starting a new brick and mortar job after freelancing for the last few years, trying to get my Beowulf translation (https://bloggersbeowulf.com/) edited and turned into a solid self-published book, continuing to write Magic in the Air, researching for and co-hosting a weekly podcast (and appearing regularly on another that has a much shorter, periodic run), and trying to improve my writing by actively participating in the critters.org weekly critique group, preparing and posting a chapter here every week is no longer something I have the time or energy to do.

I know that there has been some traffic to these chapters, and I sincerely appreciate whoever those readers are. I'm glad you've found a story that you've been enjoying! But, I'm afraid that I have to disappoint you by saying that for the time being this is all I'm going to post of the Magic in the Air series on Wattpad.

Along with simply taking on more than I can sustainably handle in the long term, I was, honestly, hoping to reach a larger audience on this platform. However, if the site's stats are to be believed, then there's been little to now growth in readership since I first starting posting this story here. There's a small possibility that I might start posting here again to promote the series' self-published release over the course of 2019, but after seeing so little growth in readership, I feel as if I need to keep looking to find this story's audience.

Once again, thanks for reading what I've been writing and (at least mildly) editing. If you have any questions for me or just want to follow up on this post, feel free to email me at nsczach(at)gmail(dot)com.
