BTS CONCERT TIPS

SOUNDCHECK

let me start off with my experience.

what they were wearing:

joonie: a black hoodie, his hair frizzy
jin: a longass red puffy jacket
yoongi: ash grey beanie, a mask
hobi: glasses, a hat, black sweatshirt (?)
jimin: same hoodie as hoseok (they matched)
tae: white cap
jungkook: dirty green bucket hat

they sang three songs:
airplane pt 2
fake love
anpanman

i was 38 in soundcheck, so i got barricade.

i remember feeling super taken aback (in a good way, of course) when they entered the stage.

Like,

Jimin's jawline was super sharp, like it was sculpted. His hair was so poofy :(

joon and hobi looked super good in real life. like 100000 times better than in pictures i cant describe it T^T

They were making eye contact with us, especially Taehyung. He stares. His stares. Oof.

I couldn't see Namjoon and Jungkook's eyes that much, especially Jungkook, because of his bucket hat.

While they were walking around on the catwalk, I randomly fist bumped the air and Jimin did it back to me while eye contacting me :") Yoongi also eye contacted with me about 3+ seconds and it felt so surreal :(

Soundcheck ended in about 20-30 minutes. It felt like 10 minutes to be honest. All the pain from standing and walking around for the entire day MELTED while I was at soundcheck.

One word.

AMAZING.

TIPS!

They started giving out wristbands at 10am. It might not be the same for all concerts so this time will serve as a guide!

1. QUEUE BEFORE 7 AM.
I started queuing at around 6.20 am, and I was still 38th. So, as long as you come before 7am, you should be in the barricade. (basically, go super early to queue up)

2. STAY IN YOUR SPOT
You dont understand how important this is.
During soundcheck, they move from the main stage to the catwalk to the main stage. The crowd moves as well, to get a good view of the boys.

During my soundcheck, when the boys moved to the main stage for anpanman, the WHOLE CROWD shifted. I suggest, if you have a good spot in your barricade or standing, STAY THERE. They may come back later. you also probably don't wanna get squashed by others lol

3. BRING A FOLDABLE CHAIR
You might want to bring this if you can't tolerate standing for too long. You'd have to stand in line for 3 hours, especially if it just rained (like for my case) and the floor is wet.

I suggest you bring it only if your hotel or car is close by so you can drop it off before the concert starts.

Bring it especially if your WHOOSH comes. It will save a life.

4. BRING AN UMBRELLA/RAINCOAT
Just in case it rains. You never know the weather. (unless you have me as your friend HAHA) You don't wanna get sick. Stay healthy :)

5. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES
You can bring your platforms to the venue when soundcheck/concert starts. You don't want to suffer standing in HIGHASS PLATFORMS and even WALKING around in them for 6 hours. Trust me, based on experience.

It's one day after the concert and my feet still hurt. You can change your platforms after queuing/purchasing what you have to purchase.

THINGS TO TAKE NOTE OF!

•DO NOT RECORD!
They will actually PULL you out of the venue, only record if the rules do not state anything about recording.

•WEAR PLATS.
WHEN you are about to enter the venue

•TRY NOT TO BRING A BAG!
So you can skip bagcheck. It's also less of a burden on your shoulders.

•MAKE FRIENDS!
I didn't make friends, and waiting for 3 hours felt SO BORING. Unless you want to wait without talking and feeling like a loner, PLEASE MAKE FRIENDS.
