Really short update for today since I really felt like updating. Things can get confusing, but where the fun when there's no twist or anything to question about in a book?
So, hope you all enjoy the chapter!

Third Person POV
The leaves crunched under her feet as she quietly made her way to the usual meeting spot, under the bridge. She couldn't believe she was doing this. If it weren't for an urgent meet up request, she would've declined the offer and postponed it to some other time, since there was a lot going on already.
Taking a few more steps to the precise location, she wandered around looking for way might've been a figure dressed in black.
"Ah, I see you've come." Said a smooth voice that caused shivers as well as warmth throughout her body. She knew exactly who it was.
"Of course I had to come." She managed to speak after a good silence took over. It was overwhelming. If it weren't for the unknown text she received after a very long time, written words of conviction to which she wouldn't think twice about, indeed she would've refused to any other message without doubt.
She stood afar from him, scanning his every feature that she always seemed to do, like she was memorizing it for she doesn't know when would be the next time they meet.
He was a man, around five feet and nine inches with broad shoulders that have slumped due to aging. His eyes were beautiful forest green, with wrinkled around them that were shown beautifully when he smiled, and smiled only when he met her. His dark suit during the night can give away the fact that he was a man at work, eve during the night. She observed him very well.
"How are you? You've seem to grown than the last time I saw you." He observed.
She laughed a little, which soon turned into a a sad smile in no time.
"The last you saw me was three years ago. A good amount of time for a girl to grow into a woman. Isn't it? And I'm great so far, how are you?"
He sighed. No matter how many times he tried to explain to her of his busy lifestyle, he couldn't get her to understand about the world he lived in, the world he had lived for.
"Life goes on. I can't say more than that."
She count agree better.
"How have you been holding up with everything?" He asked cautiously looking at her face, trying not to miss a reaction from her.
Her eye brows rose before he could even finish his sentence.
"How did you know?" She asked.
"Dear, I know everything that has happened. So?" He replied seriously, wanting her to get on to the point.
She sighed and ran her hands through her hair.
"Honestly, I am shocked to say the least." She managed to croak out.
"I don't understand. Why? My only question is why?" She pried for answers to which he only looked saddened.
"You are right to question me. Although everything has a right time. And so do the answers to your questions."
He sighed and turned around, his back facing her.
"Remember one thing, there is always a story to everything. Everything and everyone had a story to tell. Some secrets are kept for the best of us, while some take the worst out in us." He spoke smoothly with a calmness in his tone.
"Do you trust me?" He asked, now facing her.
She smiled, always knowing the answer as her heart knew before she could even comply.
"Always."

Next chapter hopefully will be good too, since it's going to involve a little monument between Delrasso and Mishel, and Mishel's ongoing funny and relatable personality that'll make situations even better!
Have a great weekend y'all!
Until next time😊
