Chapter 41

I went back in my room. I couldn't believe that Niall would ever talk to me like that. At least he had to respect that I'm Alisa's step sister and he was in love with Alisa. I mean, yes, that has nothing to do with me but I was the sister of who he was in love with. I should really stop thinking before I lose my mind.

I sat on the bed and started wondering how I was supposed to approach Zayn and make him listen to me. I heard a knock on the door and stood up. The door opened and Zayn walked in. What did he want? Okay. I was freaking out. Maybe he wanted to kill me. No. They needed me, they couldn't just kill me. But Zayn didn't like both Alisa and me, so he couldn't care less if I was dead and they never found Alisa. He walked closer to me, his eyes never leaving mine.

"I heard that you want to talk to me." He said. What? Who told him so?

"You heard? What do you mean?" 

"Don't be so surprised, Kathie." He laughed. "I had, you know, a feeling." He added.

"A feeling? Really?" I said crossing my hands in front of my chest. I knew it wasn't only a feeling of his. 

"So? Anything you want to talk about? With me?" 

"Yes. I do want to talk to you. And it's about Alisa." 

"What about her?" He asked with confusion.

"It's not the real Alisa, Zayn. Niall didn't believe me but you have to believe me. I need you to help me. It's Jane's trap." I was almost begging him to believe me and help me. I actually was. If I had to fall down on my knees, I would. 

"Although you're not my favourite person, you should take my advice. Stop acting like you escaped from the madhouse. Alisa is here, now. Stop obsessing over imaginary stories. You have to stop." He said dead serious. I was getting crazy. He had to believe me. I had no one else to talk to about Alisa. I had no one. Liam's words were true once again. 

"I'm not crazy. I'm telling you the truth, Zayn. But if you don't want to believe me, then, don't. I can do it on my own. I don't any of you." I said opening the door for him.

"Fine. Do whatever you want, Kathie. I warned you." He said getting out of my room. 

Maybe I should talk to Liam but I was too selfish not to. He wouldn't listen anyway.

Zayn's POV.

Kathie is crazy. How can she say something like that? Alisa is not Alisa. Great. What else can she make up with? But then again, she wouldn't be saying these things if she hadn't a reason to. Maybe she is just overreacting because Alisa is back and now no one is paying her any attention. She is like a big baby. She had accused Alisa of always behaving like a 5 year old but she is acting like a little kid now. I swear she is mad.

I went in the living room as I saw Liam, Carlos, Louis, Kendall, James and Harry sitting there. They were talking about how Alisa appeared out of nowhere. Kathie's words kept replaying in my head. 

I sat down with them. I had to tell them about Kathie.

"You won't believe what Kathie just told me." I said as their eyes were on me.

"What?" James and Liam said in unison. 

"She said that Alisa is not the real Alisa. It's her doppelganger or something. I swear she is getting even crazier day after day." I laughed. I noticed that Liam and Harry were giving death glares but I didn't give a damn fuck.

"What?! She can't stop wandering around, talking this shit. Alisa doesn't have to hear this." Kendall almost yelled. I knew they were going to start a fight but there was nothing I could do to stop them. 

"Hey. You can't talk about Kathie like that. She's done nothing to you." Liam defended Kathie. Could he make it more obvious? 

"Why do you care about Kathie that much?" James yelled at Liam. Here we go again.

"It's none of your stupid business. I care about her." Liam fired back.

"Well you shouldn't. It's my girlfriend." James yelled louder.

"Not anymore. She left you." Liam said grinning.

"Don't you dare start this game with me. I can beat you up anytime." James warned.

"So can we. If it wasn't for these girls, we would have killed you a long time ago. And now Kathie is saying that Alisa is not the real one and that Jane trapped us." Louis said trapping everyone's attention. 

"You don't know what you're talking about. We're stronger than you." Carlos warned Louis.

"Oh yeah? We'll see that." Louis said. 

"Whenever you want." Kendall spoke up. 

Just right then, Alisa and Niall walked in the living room. Niall sat down beside me but Alisa just stood there looking at the others fighting. I noticed a small smile on her face. 

"I heard you talk about Kathie. What about her?" Alisa asked Louis.

"She was talking shit about you. She said that you're not you and that it's Jane's plan." I said to her. She turned to face me and then turned to the others again. 

"What? She can't say these things about me. I am her sister. I thought she would be happy." Alisa complained.

"She should be happy that you're back Alisa. Don't listen to her. We decided to ignore her as long as she keeps this behaviour." Niall said. When did we decide something like that? It's not like it was a bad idea, though.

"I like this idea. She can't keep saying these things about me." Alisa said. It was strange that Alisa was saying these things. I knew her good enough to understand that these words weren't Alisa's but Kathie couldn't be right.

Kathie's POV.

I heard loud voices coming from the living room. I opened my door and headed down. I saw that everyone was there including 'Alisa'. I got closer till I was in their view.

"Why are you saying these things about me?" Alisa asked me. Was she being serious?

"I'm not saying anything. What are you talking about?" 

"You're saying that I'm not the real Alisa. Who else could I be? You're just jealous, Kathie. You always wanted to get rid of me." She was shouting at me. Jane planned everything really well. 

"I can't believe you're saying something like this. I love you, Alisa. But not you. The real Alisa." I shouted back.

"Shut up, Kathie. Stop." Kendall yelled at me.

"Kathie, you know that we can't keep doing this. You know that it's impossible to be a team with these vampires. You have to choose." James said calmly.

"Choose what?" I asked. I was feeling lost. I hoped it wasn't what I thought it was.

"Which side you will take. The vampires' one or the werewolves' one?" Carlos spoke up. My whole world was sinking down. I didn't want to make any choice.

"I-I don't know. I don't want to-.." 

"You have to, Kathie." Liam said looking straight into my eyes. His eyes. I could stand there and look into his eyes all day. But they were right. I had to choose. 

"I'm taking the werewolves' side." I sighed. I couldn't go with the vampires. I was with James for such a long time. This was what I was supposed to do. 

I looked over at Liam. His eyes held disappointment and anger. I had disappointed him. Again. I had to let him go. Our love, if ever existed, would be forbidden. This was my chance to forget about him. So, I was with the werewolves, now. There wasn't going back, anymore...
