Chapter 34

"Good morning, Kathie." James smiled. I couldn't believe James would ever do that to me. How could he? After all we had been through together? Such a liar. That's when I realised that I had to trust no one and I mean literally no one. Not even my very own self. I would do what I had always been doing untill I met James, I would rely only on myself and nobody else. 

"I thought you would like some coffee. Here, I made you some." He said giving me the cup he was holding. That's it. They were going to drug me. Assholes. I hate them.

How could he look me in the eyes like nothing was wrong? I crossed my arms over my chest and looked him straight in the eyes.

"Thank you, James. I don't want it, though." I said as politely as I possibly could.

"But Kathie, you need it." said Kendall. Son of a bitch. Kendall was always so nice to me. He was like the older brother I never had. 

I turned to face Kendall as I heard his voice. My arms still crossed over my chest. 

"Of course I need it, Kendall. I need it to be unconcious. I need it because you want me to get out of your way so you can look for Alisa on your owns." I felt so good after I took it all out.

They all looked at me dumbfounded. I wanted so bad to yell at them, to hate them but something inside of me wouldn't let me. Maybe it was my heart. No. I had to be strong. I should never love again. I should put all of my feelings aside and don't give a fuck about anyone. 

"I heard what you were saying earlier. I heard everything. You're right, you don't have souls, you don't have hearts, you don't care. You know that this whole thing means the world to me but you don't give a damn fuck about me. We had decided to go all together. I am coming with you even if that means that I'm gonna die. At least, I will die for someone that I care about and not to save myself." I had to say it. I had to stand for myself. 

Then, the rest of the group of people that were in that house entered the living room. 

"What is going on here?" asked Carlos looking at everyone one by one. 

"Nothing. We were just talking about Alisa. We have to find her as soon as possible." James answered Carlos's question and everyone else's thoughts.

"Together." Said Liam looking at me with a fading smile on his face. 

I went to my room to get ready. At least, I was going with them. Hopefully, I made them realise I am good enough to stand for myself. I grabbed my bag and went back to the living room where everyone was waiting for me. 

It was also Peter there. He was standing next to Louis and was looking at me. 

"Hello, Kathie." He said grinning lightly. 

"Hi. I am ready. We can get going." I said not paying too much attention to him. I knew he thought of me as a bunch of fresh meet full of warm blood. 

"Let's go, then." Niall said. He wanted to save Alisa as soon as possible.

We passed through the centre of the town. Luxor was a nice place. As we were walking, I looked around me and noticed lots of women holding bags full of brand new items and they were with their husbands. That's what I always wanted when I would be older, to be so in love with the man I decided to spend the rest of my life with even when we get older and have grandchildren. 

There were louds of couples around us and a lot of children who were running and playing. I wasn't used to those kinds of scenes. I had had a pretty hard childhood. I was the kid that was always made fun of. I wouldn't go out not to deal with people. I had given up on my own self till I met that guy that I fell in love with. That guy who also shattered my heart and made me hate myself. I was suffering from major depression and I had lost interest in life.

That's before I met James. He made me feel loved again and he was kind of my emotional crutch. That's why I was so hurt to hear that he betrayed me, too. Like everybody else did.

I looked at the vampires and werewolves that accompanied me. No expression, no feeling on their faces. They were all so insensitive. They didn't belong to my world. To the human world. 

We were walking for a long while till we saw some pyramids on the horizon. I had never seen something like this before in my whole life. But again the others were so senseless. I was going crazy. 

We were close enough to that pyramid complex. There were guardians outside each pyramid. None of us was surprised. It was something we expected to see. 

We got closer to the pyramids from the back street where there were no people at all. Peter said that we had to be separated in teams. Each team consisted of two people. 

"Each team will enter one of the pyramids. Harry, you're going with Louis. Niall, you're with Kendall. Carlos with James. Liam, you'll be with Kathie. And Zayn, you''ll come with me." Peter announced.

"When we get out of the pyramids, we'll meet right here." said Carlos.

"If someone is late for over 5 minutes, we'll go looking for them immediately. And remember that there are no exceptions between vampires and werewolves. And Liam take care of the girl." Peter said pointing at Liam.

"I'll do my best." Said Liam looking straight into Peter's eyes.

That was quite a good idea. I liked that they were going to save each other no matter if they were vampires or werewolves.

Each team entered each one of the pyramids...

A/N: Just something I want to make clear, I am not a Larry shipper. I love Elounor so much and Eleanor is my favourite girlfriend out of the boys' girlfriends. I really love Perrie and I like Sophia but I am not into Sophia that much. I mean she is very pretty and all but I don't like her so much but I am not going to send hate to her either. Anyway, I do believe in Larry but as a bromance not a romance. I mean, come on they are close friends, they are like brothers to each other. They are 4 years together for God's sake. Btw, I am a Liam girl. I am a Directioner for 2 years and a half. Also, I'm Lovatic, Sheerio and 5SOSfam. I really like the neighbourhood and I love music and writing. I sing, I write songs and I play guitar. I know you don't care but whatever, I still love you loads. :) xx.
