I stared at the mirror, blankly as grandma finished with my hairstyles and moved to the ornaments part
I watched grandma putting on the earnings. I was curently getting ready for my wedding.

Unbelievable, isn't it?

I couldn't believe it in my own. After the night of 2 days ago, when I woke up in the morning, I found myself on the bed and grandma was by my side. Apparently, after I fainted because of lack of blood, I laid on the floor unconscious.

Grandma told me that she had escaped the room from the window and then came in the house from the kitchen window. She found my lying unconscious and later bandaged my wounds.

She wanted to take me to the hospital but of course uncle objected. He even took away my health card and without that I couldn't be admitted to the hospital.

It was cruel. When I woke up, I found grandma beside putting remedies on my cuts. My cuts stopped bleeding now but it still have marks.

Apparently, uncle craved 'bitch' on my shoulder.

It hurt to even move my shoulder and right the next day, he told me that the marriage was fixed and would happen in 2 days.

Since then, I didn't went to school. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't. With my wounded shoulder, I couldn't even carry my backpack.

And 2 days from since then, currently I am sitting in front of the mirrior and letting my grandma helping me with my ornaments.

The wedding dress was delivered to me yesterday and the ornaments were my mom's. Even though I should be happy to receive my mom's ornaments but I wasn't happy with the marriage.

I mean, yes, Omar's family was nice. I knew Omar was a jerk and I hated him but I liked his family.

However, marrying just after 1 week of engagement was too soon. I didn't even know how the family well. Yes, I probably had connections with Omar's family in the past, however, I couldn't remember everything properly.

All I could remember was that I was close to Omar when we were little. That's all. I couldn't remember anything else.

The family was new to me and I didn't know if I could even hold all the responsibilities of marriage. Moreover, Omar - The Asshole, was marrying me and I didn't even know why.

I was confused and I couldn't contact anybody about this. Heck, I didn't even had a phone to contact Emily to ask her these questions.

Grandma finished putting my necklace around my neck and smiled. "My little girl is getting married today," she said as she hugged me from the back, sticking her head beside mine. "You look beautiful, Yumna."

I smiled to her. It was a forceful smile. I didn't wanted to get married. Not yet but grandma's opinion was different. She thought that by marriage, I could at least get away from the abuse of my uncle.

She took some simple makeup materials that we had from before and began to apply it on my face. I saw her sighing.

"You are getting married and I don't even have money to take you out to Sephora to do your makeup," she complained as she put on my foundation.

"You know it doesn't matter to me, right, grandma?" I said.

I knew that we didn't had a lot of branded makeup that we could use for my wedding, but, this wedding wasn't something I was looking forward to. I did not care how I looked at the wedding because I wasn't even interested in it.

Plus, I dought putting makeup on my face would make me look special in Omar's eyes. I mean, Omar didn't even had feelings for me so I shouldn't care how I looked in front of him.
