The Maze was only the beginning. This was the hard lesson that Rosalind and her friends had to learn as they escape WICKED - again.

I swiveled my head around to where Thomas and Jorge were hiding - a woman with dreadlocks was pointing a gun at the two, and though a bandanna covered half her face, her features seemed strangely familiar to me.
"Now!" She ordered, her voice slightly muffled by the cloth.
Another lady came into view, holding a gun identical to the dreadlocks woman. She, too, was aiming her gun at Thomas and Jorge, a bandanna over her face, but that was not what had caught my attention. My eyes widened as I surveyed the girl. She had bright blonde hair in contrast to the dreadlocks woman's, whose hair was as dark as ebony, and her eyes were a warm shade of brown, which seemed to glow in the bright sunlight. They looked so familiar - and that was when I realized why.
I recognized the girls. The one with the dark dreadlocks was Harriet. And the blonde's eyes looked familiar because they reminded me of someone. They reminded me of Newt.
I felt my breath hitch in my throat; I glanced quickly at Newt beside me, who was glaring at the newcomers with a tense, wary expression.
Oh lord, he didn't recognize the blonde girl?
Newt noticed me staring at him and he turned around to meet my wide eyes.
"Rose?" He whispered. "What's wrong? Why are you starin' at me like that?"
I looked away quickly. "Nothing," I said quietly.
Of course he didn't recognize her. He didn't get his memories back. To him, she was just a stranger, just another girl with a gun who posed as a potential threat to his friends.
But I recognized her. It was Sonya. Newt's sister.
"I said drop it!" Harriet ordered again.
Jorge and Thomas dropped whatever they were holding and it fell to the rocky ground with a clatter. Harriet gestured with the barrel of her gun.
"On your feet," she said firmly. "Let's go."
Thomas and Jorge stood up, hands in the air as they faced the two girls. The latter advanced, forcing the boys to stepped back.
"Move!" Sonya ordered, her voice light and airy despite her firm tone. "Back up!"
She spotted me, Newt and Minho and gestured with her gun again. "You three over here, now! Don't be stupid - move!"
The three of us stood up slowly, palms up as we went over to Thomas' and Jorge's side. Sonya ordered Teresa, Frypan, Brenda, Aris and Felix from the car behind us to get up and they complied, hands in the air as well. Harriet squinted at them; then to my surprise, she lowered her gun.
"Aris?" She said, her voice full of disbelief.
"Felix?" Sonya gasped.
All eyes turned to the sandy-haired boys. Harriet lowered her bandanna and revealed her face.
"Oh my god, Harriet?" Aris said, his eyes widening.
