On a rainy Fall day I was going on my first flight alone to South Korea .

ou're asking why? Well..long story short, I have always been fascinated by Asian countries and their culture (i'm not saying anime and Kdramas are to blame for this, but I'm not denying it either so hehe..) and this year, after finally graduating high school and getting into College ,my dear parents offered me as graduation gift a three week vacation to nowhere else than South freaking Korea ( I hope they are not bankrupt now tho... ). At first, I didn't want to accept because I was worried for them , but they assured me that is fine and to start packing before they sell the hole ting to someone else . Ok..but there still was a small problem...I had to go alone and although I like to say about myself that I'm a strong independent woman...well, usually I am , but being alone in a foreign country is not that simple and it seems kinda scary. Sure, I like travelling to any country to be honest. Heck , I would have been happy with any country (maybe not war zone countries ..) you get the point. Hmm...anyway, after debating with myself and considering the pros and cons I decided to accept also because it would be a challenge for myself and I had to prove to my parents and also to myself that I'm an adult and perfectly capable of handling things on my own. ( easier said than done). Now that I was actually at the airport a little bit of anxiety started to envelop me (stupid Nat Geo show with plane crashes) . After I passed the security and the identity check I was finally on my near window seat in the plane. When I felt we were leaving the land I was pushing myself harder into the chair (like that would really help me tho..) and after 2 minutes I got comfortable and decided to listen to some music and read some Webtoons . After my playlist with English songs finished , it started playing some Kpop and Jpop . (my taste in music is quite ..let's say I like any type of music as long as it sounds good and connects with me ). I have to admit tho, some songs don't click with me right from the start , but I like to consider them as wine (it gets better as time passes). Right now I was really enjoying BTS's and EXO's music but I also liked NCT's , Super Junior's , Red Velvet's and other's music . Although I was a kpop fan , i wasn't the typical "crazy" kind of fan who only knows kpop and oppaa (don't get me even started with this one...i find it so cringy like I would never ever say it ). Sure, i liked to sing along( misheard lyrics, invent words , yeah yeah ) dance(try) , talk with my friends who also were enjoying kpop, reading fanfics because why not (x reader ones like this one) , admiring them not to much tho i mean sure, the guys and the girls are hot as heck ,but they are still humans and not some kind of aliens, gods, or something else. What I always admired about kidols is their hard working and devotement because I was lazy af and could never be able to be hardworking and sacrifice so much for my dreams . After a long flight I finally landed in South Korea. I was amazed how vivid and lively and also crowded was everything, sky scrapers were everywhere, the weather was ok , a little windy ,but warm nonetheless. The local time was 10 AM and I was kind of tired so I checked what train I had to get to my Hotel and then went right into the station. I was dressed quite light and here people were wearing scarves, long coats and so on. I was starting to shiver a little so I ran to the platform and was waiting to my train to arrive. I called my parents to tell them I have landed safely and everything was ok. After I finished the call I noticed that people were starting to stare at me because of my big chocolate eyes and I was feeling so weird ,there even were some girls who wanted a picture with me and asked me in a broken English then thanked me and ran. I was left dumbfounded like I heard this happens from times to times to strangers in Asian countries ,but to the ones with blond hair and blue or green eyes that really stand out . Anyway, I felt like being at the comic con and remembered how the first time I went people actually came to me and wanted pictures and admired my costume of Xena the Warrior Princess. At exactly the time shown on the ticket , the train arrived and I entered it. Luckily , this time also I had the window seat for myself and like a bonus no one stood on the other seat so I was having plenty of space all to myself. I was admiring the view showing a lot of green, crowded roads and let's not forget of the many futuristic like blocks and buildings.
