"Andre!"

I wake suddenly; my heart thrashing against my chest, my mind blank.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." I whisper softly, as I look at my trembling hands.

"Tia."

"Andre." I took a hold of his right-hand before pulling him close. Then as I place my face against his abdomen, I wrap my arms around his waist, holding him tight. Once I feel my nerves slowly settle, I look at him. "Layton, where is he?"

"At the moment, he is with Alex and Matt." Andre said.

I sigh in relief, 'My baby is safe.' I thought. "What happened?" I ask him, curiously.

"When I spoke to Thomas, I called Taylor but, she said that she didn't call." Andre started, as he took a seat on the bed, "Then I spoke to Lucas, he said it was most likely voice phishing – someone pretending to be Taylor but said that because we don't have time, he'll call –"

"The stranger in black." I interrupt him.

With a nod of his head, Andre spoke. "Lucas said his name is S."

'S.' I thought.

"First, I spoke to Alex to let him know about the whole situation. Layton was with Irdina, but we thought it would be safer if he was with Matt and him in their apartment." Andre said. "It took a long time for Alex to get in contact with her because she with Layton at The Wiggles show. However, once S gave us the location of the building, Irdina called Alex. At the same time, S sent me a text message saying that you're twentieth floor, I ran."

"What about S, the man in black?"

"Well, before I could take you to the hospital, he called." Andre said.

I deeply frown, "You didn't meet him face to face?" I ask, disappointingly.

"Unfortunately I didn't."

"I see." I mumble.

"Tia, I'm going to call the doctor and nurse."

I nod, and watch Andre leave the room. I look outside the window. 'Why did I dream about that morning.' I thought. 'It didn't make sense. First Mr Harris didn't come, then I had someone stalking me.'

There's a soft knock on the door. When the door opens, there's is a female doctor with short red hair. "Hello Miss Frederick, my name is Doctor Susan." she said, walking into the room. "The person next to me, is Marcus." Next to her is a male nurse with blonde hair.

"Hello Miss Frederick." Marcus said, politely. "How are you feeling?"

"Surprisingly, I'm feeling okay."

"That is very good news, but I would like to have a look at your vital signs. Example, your heartrate, blood pressure." Susan said. "I will be leaving but Marcus will examine your vital signs. Then, I will come back because I am going to do a full neurological observation."

I groan, silently, "This is going to take a very long time." I mutter under my breath. Nevertheless, I smile at Doctor Susan and Marcus. "Yes, I understand Doctor Susan, thank you very much." I say, as she leaves the room.

"I am going to first examine your body temperature," Marcus said.

"So Marcus, how long have you been a nurse for?" I ask him, in effort to start a conversation.

"Well, in the beginning, I was a paramedic." He said, "One day, I was having a conversation with the chief and he said that I have a lot of potential."
