chapter 6

SASHA POV

I woke up and looked at the time, it was already 6am I had a bad headache because  I couldn't sleep last night so I went to a bar at 1am , I got so drunk that I left the bar at 4am
Thankfully dominic is a heavy sleeper so he didn't hear me leave or come home, I got up and did my usual morning routine and went down stairs to get some breakfast to my surprise dominic wasn't there , I felt kinda sad but at the same time I didn't want him here because of what happened yesterday, I know I don't mean anything to him so this shouldn't affect me...
I heard footsteps coming from up stairs and I recognised the footsteps  it was dominic , I quickly got up and went up stairs passing by him , went into my room and got dressed and I decided I wanted to go out since I couldn't handle being in a house with him , as I was leaving I heard him say
"Sasha quit acting like a fucking kid"

"Listen , I am not acting like a kid I just simply don't care "

"You don't mean anything to me , this is only family business , I don't give a fuck about you" he pointed out

These words were like a sharp stab in the heart... I don't know why it hurt, but it did .... it hurt so badly that I wanted to cry I just quickly rushed to the door and went out with out answering him , I drove fast not thinking where to go I found myself heading to Tyler's house , Tyler is my child hood best friend we went to elementery and highschool together, he is currently in college , i am suppose to attened the same college as him but I dropped out due to family business , he doesn't know about the mafia so I told him i dropped out because college wasn't for me , when I walked into his building I went up the elevator and he lived in the pent house so that was the 50th floor, he was rich so that was one of his houses
I rang the door bell

"Who Is it?" He asked from behind the door
"Hey shrek" I giggled

He opened the door and as soon as he did I hugged him so tight

"Hey sash .. what's the hug for?" He asked
"Nothing can't i hug my best friend?"
As soon as I said that his smile faded away and sadness was in his eyes

"What's wrong ty ..? "

"Nothing ... come in Sasha its been long" he said while faking a smile

We eat some lunch together and chatted about life and joked  , laughed and had alot of fun , as soon as I mentioned about my engagement his facial express went pale....
"What's wrong shrek ?"

"Y..your engaged..???" He asked

"I don't love him you know?"

I saw him signed as he looked relieved

"Then why are you gonna marry him?" He asked

"It's family business, they decieded that we would get married for the benifite of his and my parents company"

"So it's arranged? " he asked as I nodded my head

As soon as I was gonna say something his phone rang

" Hey , yeah okay head up" he said on the phone

"Who is that?"

"Oh my cousin , he is going to pass by here to drop stuff off , if you don't mind" he said

" Okay sure "

We continued chatting about life and stuff and after 1 hour his doorbell rang he went up to get it and as soon as he opened the door I heard a familiar voice , it was dominic , if they are cousins then....
My eyes widen from the shock
Tyler is a part of the mafia.... he never told me.

DOMINIC POV

I was heading to my cousins house and I felt guilty of what I said to Sasha earlier..  I know it hurt her but maybe that way she will hate me and then I will stop liking her , when I reached his house my eyes landed on a girl sitting on Tyler's couch
"Sasha come meet my cousin" Tyler said
She got up and I saw the shock on her face

small town eh?
