Tina's POV

My eyes started to water as soon as I came across an article.

'Newton Artemis Fido Scamander and Leta Lestrange got engaged last night.

We were absolutely thrilled when we heard about their engagement and we can't wait to hear more about their extraordinary relationship.

This is a picture that was taken during Newt Scamander's signing.'

Then, there was a picture attached to it.

"Teenie, I'm sorry that this is all a misunderstanding." said Queenie as she tried to comfort me.

"I will go..." I said quietly.

"Where?" asked Queenie, but I couldn't miss her pleadedful look as she hoped that I would change my mind.

"On a date. Remember when Lance asked me? I mean, why not right?" I asked hopefully, but determined.

"Because... I. Um."

"As great as your point of you, Queenie. I'm going." I said as I stood up and took my coat.

Lance said that he would be waiting for me there and left it to me if I were going or not.

"Drama..." mumbled Queenie.

"Wh- Queenie what did I say about Jacob?" I snapped, why can't she listen to me for once?

"Date him?"

"You're funny." I said bitterly.

"But-"

"No buts. I told you to end it with him a while ago." I said as I looked around.

"I'm really sorry, Teenie. But, I won't." said Queenie with a frown.

"Then, don't you talk to me." I said without really realizing it.

She got cut in the middle by the door.

I walked outside and started for MACUSA.

Since, there's where he would have been picking me up.

"Why Newt? I mean, you're free to do so. Yet, your letters." I said as I started to feel heartbroken.

"Tina." said Lance excitedly as she hugged me.

"Lance-"

"Porpetina. I'm so glad you're here. We were just about to drop by your apartment." said a fellow auror.
"You need to go to Paris."

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Because, Grindelwald is there now."

"When am I supposed to go?"

"No would be great." finished Ryan as he patted me on the shoulder and left.

"...Lanc-"

"I get it. Someday we might have another chance." said Lance as he smiled at me.

I did the same and held some floo powder as I yelled 'Paris Wizarding circus.'
