It's Tuesday which is Disney day which I can't attend with the love triangle?
Love rectangle?
Whatever you want to call it
It is not resolved yet
I hate taking sides so I've been mostly staying out of it
Sean likes Kaycee
Julian likes Kaycee
Tati likes Julian
Tati and Kaycee are best friends
Sean and Julian are best friends
Kaycee likes both Sean and Julian...
With her leaning towards Sean heavily but not eliminating Julian
I want to be that best friend that just says 'Fuck it Kaycee just pick one! That way those two boys can move on, Tati won't feel worse than she already does and Josh and I can get our best friends back!'
But I know it's not that simple
A doorbell rang and as I was on the way to answer it I heard my dad say he got it
I guess I understand when my mom said to get some more friends since my two best friends now...
Well they don't NOT like each other
But Kaycee knew Tati likes Julian but still continues to flirt... well Kaycee's version of flirting with Julian while still liking Sean
And Tati always had an inferiority complex when it came to Kaycee so this wasn't helping
And Kaycee has a hard time understanding Tati or mines problems
"Tahani you have a guest!" I heard my dad shout from downstairs
Josh Price's POV
I knocked on the door and it was quickly answered by Mr. Anderson
"Hey, Mr. Anderson!"
"Josh, is Ruth here? You can let her know Debra's not here"
"Oh no, I'm here for Tahani..."
"What in the hell do you want with my daughter?!" He said
"I-I just wanted to hang out, you know just watch Netflix and chill"
"Boy! You don't think I know what Netflix and Chill mean?! You are not going to put a finger on my precious little angel and if you do I will chase you from hell and back with my bat that I used to destroy little kids like you! Just to tear you apart limb from limb with no struggle"
"T-that's not my intentions at all, I'm not attracted to your daughter like that," I said
"Not attracted to my daughter, my daughter is the most beautiful girl in the world! I should beat you silly for not thinking she's pretty, don't you think she's pretty?!"
"She's pretty!!"
"... HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Mr. Anderson started laughing terrifying me
"What?"
"Tahani you have a guest!" Mr. Anderson said "Sorry son I never I thought I would get the opportunity to scare a boy that was here for my daughter, bucket list almost completed now"
"... Glad to help" I said as that was the worse prank ever in my opinion
He let me inside and Tahani came up to me, sent a look to her dad and brought me upstairs
I was still trying to regain the soul that was snatched out of my body thanks to Mr. Anderson
"What are you doing here Josh? Not that I don't w-want you here you just didn't text or call or-"
"Oh, it's just we couldn't go out with the other four so I thought I would keep you company" I answered her
"Company?"
"Yeah I figured we could hang out, I got you some chocolate, you said they were your favorite," I said as I took out my bag that had chocolate bars "And I figured we would watch Netflix"
"... And Chill?"
She looked at me in a naughty way then it quickly morphed into a wicked smile then into laughter
"You heard the whole thing," I said as I just felt embarrassed
"My dad has been rehearsing that speech for years, he thought he would never get to use it since I'm online schooled and will probably never have a prom date for example, you were just his victim," Tahani said with a smile and small giggle
I don't know what happened but between the first instance I met her I thought she was really quiet and shy but now I get the feeling she's way more outgoing than I first thought
"...Well that means I'm the first boy in your room"
"Oh yeah? Wanna bet?" She said
And she's confidence if not just a little cocky
"How much?"
"You will have to buy something for me," Tahani said
"Like what?"
"Gotta accept the bet first"
Smart
"Ok, fine, What do I get if I'm right?" I asked
"You can say you were the first boy in my room," she said
"I don't see how that benefits me"
"You can imply anything you want," She said as it took me a second
"How does that benefit me?" I said
"Rude," Tahani said sitting on her bed as I laughed "Come on sit down aren't we gonna Netflix and Chill?"
"We need to stop calling it that," I said as I sat down next to her and looked at her
Pretty
"Any movie preference?" She asked me as she brought up Netflix
"Anything you want," I said not really caring
"Cool," Tahani said instantly clicking on the goriest horror thing she could find lowkey scaring me
"Jeez" I commented as the first scene was awful
"P.S. you are the first boy on my bed," Tahani said in a small voice
"Well you're the first girl I shared a bed with"
"So I guess today is just you and me"
"Yeah but nothing wrong with that," I said as I felt her rest her head on my shoulder "Nothing wrong at all..."
