I could see it.

Even behind the heartless mask he put up, I could see through it. The pain, the regret, the grief, I could see it all. He was hurting, but no one had reached out to heal him because they feared he might lose control and slaughter the whole pack, just like he did years ago. But what they didn't know was the truth.
