~week later(?)~
"So this is how you do this equation. If you don't use the method correctly you can get the whole equation wrong..." I watched the Sakura* petal's fall to the ground as my teacher spout nonsense that I had learnt age's ago. I sighed, "....ko.....ruko..." I started to hear what seemed to be my name come from my Sensei. "NARUKO!! HATAKE NARUKO!!" I jumped from my seat "W-What?" I heard laughter come from the other students, I stuck my tongue at them "Quiet.....Naruko...would you be willing to solve this equation for us?" The sensei gestured to the board. I nod and walk towards it seeing the simple equation. "(10^2)^4*.....It equals One-Hundred Million (100,000,000)..." everyone looks at me surprised "how did you figure that out?" I sigh and start dragging numbers down.
"There are four groups of ten.....(Writes) so now there are four, ten-to-the second power. Ten-to-the second power multiplied by a continuation by four of ten-to-the second power*."
I turn towards the Sensei and smirk, "There Kakuzu~Sensei~!" I hear him click his tongue as the bell rang signifying lunch time. I grabbed my Bento and walked towards my regular spot at the Sakura tree, when I arrived I sat down. I opened my Bento and peered at my lunch, there was a fox shaped onigiri*, meat, and cooked vegetables. "Itadakimasu*~!" I clap my hands together and I grab my chopsticks. I start eating when I see someones shadow sit next to me, I turn my head over and see the boy from before again. "Hi~!" I give him a small smile and he starts eating ignoring me, an irk mark appears and I sigh calming down before eating once more.

After lunch had ended I headed to class to see Iruka-Sensei- My dad, already there and I take a seat by the window. As the sensei talked I drifted to sleep, letting my eyes drift off.

I shift in my desk letting out a small groan while I hear distant muffles of voices....'w-what's going on.....who's voice is that...?' suddenly I feel someone smack my head and gasps in the background. I raise my head rubbing my eyes still half asleep, "Sasu...." I can hear whisper's in the background. "N.A.R.U.K.O! NO SLEEPING IN MY CLASS! DETENTION!" I groan and set my head back down drifting off again. I hear a muffled sigh come from what I believe to be my sensei and someone very abruptly picks me up bridal style, from my seat. "I'll....take her to the infirmary....". Everyone by this moment is taken aback as I was taken away. As the person carried me I drifted off onto their chest.

"Hey~..." I hear a little groan come from the younger boy next to me "W-What if I moved....far away?" The boy stops swinging and turns to me "are.....you moving?" I look at him solemnly then at the ground. "Y-Yeah....I am..." The boy looks away "when...?" I jump off the swing I had been on. "Soon.....whenever daddy comes to pick me up...today....u-umm....I-Im s-sorry" I start sobbing. 'That's me....before I left...but...whose that boy? why can't I remember his name....and face!' The boy hops off the swing and hugs me "Don't be.....can you promise me something?" I nod "Promise me.....No matter what! you'll come back!" I nod more while sobbing. "I-I....P-Promise! I-I'll come back!" I continue to cry into his shoulder. I let go and I see tears go down the boys face, "w-wah! D-Don't cry!" I hear him click his tongue and turn around "I-I'm not crying!" I let out a small giggle when very abruptly I hear daddy call. "NARUKO~CHAN! TIME TO GO!" I nod and pull something out of my pocket. I gave him a small necklace and smile "Here! This is so you won't forget me! Look I have one too" I smile and show mine off. I sigh and hug the boy once more "Arigatō, Itoshi Teru* Sa____-Kun!" I start running to the car. Once I had entered the car I started crying once again.

I shift in the bed as I started to wake up. "Hmmm....oh your awake...finally" I look over at the person next to me "did you have a bad dream....? Your crying..." I lift my hand to my cheek and I touch it feeling tears. I rub my eyes as I sit up. "no...I'm fine....just some old memories..."Hmm...?" I look down at my hands. "Y-Yeah....something from before I left Konohagakure..." the boy looks at me then stands up, "I'll get the nurse..." I nod. 'why did I dream about that? Gawd! Sick, Memories..."
~A/N~ I didn't really know what to do with this chapter but I thought.....how about peer into Naruko's past a little! hehe~! Who's the boy? Will Naruko figure It out? Will she give up? or will she continue her little journey of finding her lost long childhood love?

Arigatō, Itoshi Teru* This translates into Naruko telling the mysterious boy that she's grateful and she loves him! Literally means "Thank You, I Love You" she said that
Itadakimasu* means Let's eat or lets dig in! Can also be interpreted as Thanks For The Food!
Onigiri* Is a rice ball. Onigiri can be shaped in anyway and can have meat, or fish put into it. (I researched this....by watching Food Wars: Shokugeki No Soma! Heh true but I also did search this up)
