EVE'S POV

I sighed.

Of all people, why does it has to be me who need to bring these marketing papers to 102.5 Radio Heaven? Nananadya ba talaga ang panahon? Nakakaasar lang.

Yeah, yeah. It has been about 3 days since that kissing incident happened. Geez, I feel my ears burn. Yung epekto niya ganun pa rin. Bakit ba nakakadala kasi yung lalaking yun? Yung kisses niya nakakalasing? I feel like a traitorous and cheating girlfriend everytime I remember that scene. EVERY FCKING TIME! Coz believe it or not, bigla-bigla na lang puma-pop-up sa utak ko at least 3 times a day??? Sometimes 5 or 6 times. Minsan, pag magkasama kami ni Sky umeeksena yung kiss na yun at natutulala ako. Sky would always wonder. Pinagtatakpan ko na lang. Nakakaasar talaga!

And now, I'm on my way to hand these papers to none other than Adam Chase Buenaventura. It's already 5:30, I hope he's still inside though.

“Miss, I'm Eve Ayala. Is Adam here?” Tanong ko sa babaeng mukhang receptionist.

“Ah, he's expecting you Ma'am. Please get inside.” Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto and there. I'm in his office. Well, what do you expect? Maliit lang ito but it's very manly.

“Eve.” Napalingon ako sa kaliwa kung saan siya nakaupo. I handed him the papers right away.

“Nandiyan yung info na kailangan nyo gamitin para ipromote yung school namin. The principal said, please avoid too many o.a words and cheesy adverts. Plain and Convincing will do.”

“Can you sit down? Please?”

“No. Thanks. Aalis din naman ako agad.” Pagtanggi ko. He stroked his chin while staring at me. Stop it. It gives me the creeps! Gusto kong isigaw sa kanya. “Is there anything else you need to know?”
