SSA is cut throat, classes, teachers, and people are hard on you. Competitiveness thrives on this school. To enroll into SSA you have to audition four months before the school year starts, five judges choose a person to enter the school each year. Five people. Out of thousands only five.

And one of those five chosen is me, Park Jimin.

I got my acceptance letter one month ago. I remember being filled with excitement, anxiety, and stress when I held the letter in my hands. But reading "Dear Mr. Park Jimin we are glad to inform you that you have been chosen to enter Seoul School of Arts" made me want to faint. I celebrated for weeks for this achievement, but at the same time I was filled with dread. I had to leave my home town, Busan. I had to leave my friends and family and be alone in a big city. Yes I'm grateful for the opportunity but I'm worried about being by myself. My parents had to stay in Busan because of the business and, it would be less of a hassle that I myself left alone. I'm not a very sociable person and making friends is difficult for me. So I know I'm going to have a hard time at Seoul.

I moved to my apartment in Seoul in July. I unpacked, redecorated my apartment by myself and had settled down in the town the remaining month. Tomorrow was going to be the first day of school, and man I was nervous as hell

I woke up at 5:00 AM to start my day. I did my daily work out which is 50 sit ups, push ups, and squats. Then I take shower, which leads me to 6:00 AM. I make breakfast then, I choose one of the many uniforms that the school had delivered me. I grabbed my backpack and exited my apartment building. Looking at my watch it showed the time 7:10 making it so that I had 20 minutes left to get to the school, it only took 10 or so minutes to get there so I would be fine.

A couple minutes later I had took my first step onto the schoolyard. People hustled in and out of the school all with the same uniforms I had on. I nervously walked in the stairs and entered the doors, I unknowingly wandered the crowded halls trying to find the office.

"Fuck I have no clue where I'm going" I bit my lip and looked around for a friendly looking person to ask. A tall boy stood by a locker on his phone by himself. He had broad shoulders, black shiny hair, and very long legs.

"He seems nice enough, I'll ask him." I walked over to him gripping both of my backpack straps in my hands. I was almost toe to toe with him when I spoke.

"Um hello?" He looked up at me with wide eyes. He had such a handsome looking face, it surprised me.

"Oh hey, what's up?" He said with with a low tone.

"Uhm I'm new here, could you please show me where the main office is?"

"Yeah follow me" he pushed himself off he lockers and started walking. I placed myself next to him and walked too.

"What's your name?" The broad man asked as he looked at me.

"Park Jimin, and you?" He nodded with a smile.

"Kim Seokjin I'm a Senior here. The office is pretty close to the main doors" he pointed at a room the was placed at a corner of the hall.

"I'm pretty sure they'll have someone to show you around when you get in there. If you need anything else and you see me in the halls, just ask." He smiled at me.

"T-thank you so much and I will! Thank you again!" I bowed and so did he, he walked off down the hallway and disappeared in the sea of the students.

"Damn he's nice" I walked into the office and went to talk to the lady behind the desk.

"Hello, my name is Park Jimin I was told to come here since it's my first day here." She typed something into the computer.

"Ah Park Jimin! Welcome to Seoul School of Arts! We'll just give you your schedule, take your picture for your ID, and call someone down to show you around the school!"  Her energy was outrageous for this time of the morning.
