Later that day a letter was left at the door of the manor which Vera picked up and gathered everyone

"okay we've received a letter from the host" she spoke as she opened the envelope and pulled the letter out

'My dearest survivors,

I apologize for what my dear hunters have done to your friend, they acted as I commanded them too.

But I didn't know they would go that far. Anyhow the game will still continue but the two hunters will not be participating for 3 days.

My hopes that your friend recovers as soon as possible for him to continue playing the game.'

"well it's a good thing right?... " Emma said softly with fear lingering on her tone

"we won't know if the other hunters will do the same as Jack and Michiko did to Naib" Martha spoke fixing the collar of her attire.

"we'll play safe, Martha, William, Fiona you three will come with us next match we'll need as much help as we can. Tracy will you be okay joining us? " Emily asked listing down the names of those who will join in the next match

"I think Helena should stay for now because she will be at a disadvantage " Servais said waving his wand

"But-" Helena tried to speak but was cut off

"You can watch over Naib for the time being, you and Kurt" Emily said looking at Kurt

"Just for safety okay? " she added and patted Helena

"okay " Helena agreed

"Martha,  William, Fiona, Vera,  Servais, Me, Emma and Tracy will be playing the match later" Emily said and stood up

"support each other" and added as she walked upstairs to Naib's room

A few hours later the participants gathered their strength and played the match

It was Wu Chang as White and Smiley

White had seen Tracy decoding under the ship with Emily, as he got nearer the heartbeats of the two became faster. Tracy was the one who ran first while Emily was chased by White and was surprised why chase her instead of the decoder?

A few moments later White had downed Emily

But to her surprise he didn't balloon her

"I don't plan on playing a serious game today " White spoke in a tone which would scare Emily

"w-what do you mean? " she asked as she starts to get a grip of herself while Smiley passed by them dashing towards the others as White facepalmed

"well at least I don't plan on playing seriously today, I told Smiley but I guess he has other plans" White sighed

"I wanted to ask. How is your friend? The mercenary? "

Emily slowly stood up brushing the dirt off her gloves

"well... H-he a-almost...d-died... "Emily spoke shakily and almost choked at the word died

"okay almost, I assume he's fine? "

"yes, but he's still unconscious "

"I see... Thank you for the information, I'll be fake chasing the others please act accordingly " White said as he starts to walk off while Smiley dashed and passed by him hitting Emily

"AHHH! " Emily was down again

"wooooooopsssiiiieee my bad" Smiley chuckled and scratched his red nose
