NAIB'S POV

I didn't know what happened, to us, more importantly to Jack.

He kept on ignoring me for the past 3 weeks now. I'm worried if he doesn't have any feelings for me anymore.

I smiled in a hurt way "I should stop too" I mumbled in a pained tone as I grip my chest. It hurts so bad that I wanted to rip my heart out.

I sighed as I look into the gloomy sky. "Perfect" I said. The sky sure knows how to settle the mood.

I inhaled deeply as I wore my hoodie to cover my eyes as I closed them.

'it was too good to be true. After all who wound want a broken person' I laughed in my thoughts as I remember the scars in my body. All the pain it gave me, made me who I am. Numb, emotionless and cold.

'time to go back my friend' that side whispered to me. 'time to shut myself again' I held my military dagger and lifted my shirt up only to cut myself an X mark on the chest. But not too deeply to kill myself. 'another one to make me remember '

It bled but I didn't care. I swung my dagger to swipe the blood off before placing it back into its sheath.

I heard footsteps coming towards my direction as I cover the wound with my cloak.

"Naib! We've been looking for you! " Emma said as she gasped for air

"where have you been?! "

"admiring the weather"

"well admire it later! We have to discuss for the match " she said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the manor.

We sat on the long table to discuss.

"Obviously Naib and William will be in the match" Emily stated

"Uhm guys William has a fever. I don't think he can play tomorrow" Tracy said while holding her controller

"what luck" Emily sighed

" I'll handle it for him tomorrow " I said 'wow am I getting myself killed'

"Are you sure? " Helena spoke with worry on her tone as she faced my direction.

I smiled and answered "I'll be fine" 'famous last words ' I hope not

" just focus on decoding okay? " I gently patted her head and smiled

" well I think rescuing all of us is too much so we're bringing Vera and Servais with us to help you out " Emily added and looked to Freddy

I sighed in defeat

" okay " Freddy cleared his throat

" the players for tomorrow are Naib, Vera, Servais, Emily, Tracy, Emma, Kurt and Helena " he stated.

Once settled we separated our ways and went to our rooms.

In my room I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote on it. Rolled it and placed it on a bottle and sealed with a cork.

I stood up and took off my cloak and went to bed. Slowly, drifting to sleep.

Cries of help echoed, it was dark. I couldn't see anything but the cries were crystal clear.
