Part 10

Laurens POV

"Lauren" I heard someone say 

I looked up at the door but know one was there. I was about to get up when I felt someone put their hand on mine. Thats when I looked down and saw that camila was awake.

"camila you're-"

I can't believe she's finally awake. I could barley from coherent sentences

"I was s-s-so scared I-I-I thought I lo-lost you" I tried saying

"I'm here lauren. I'll always be here" She said quietly

"I have to call everyone I promised mom and dad I'll call if anything changed" I said before leaving the room

"Hey mom, dad, cam-" Of course I started crying again

"What lauren is she ok!" My mom yelled

"Please just come down here" I said quietly 

After I hung up I called Normani and dinah and told them the same thing

"ok now that everyone is here, don't freak out ok. Try and stay calm" I said 

"ok" they all said in unison

I opened the door and they all went in expecting something was wrong but as soon as they saw camila their faces immediately changed.

"Camila" Sinhue whispered

"Hola mami" She whispered back

"Gracias a dios estas bien mi bebe estaba tan asustado" she said while tearing up

"Bueno, gracias a Lauren, la oí cantar y luego me desperté" Camila said while looking at me

Of course I started blushing. And of course mani and Dj noticed because they started laughing

I quickly shot them a death glare but of course they didn't stop. that seemed to only make them laugh more

"OK who knew Lauren was capable of blushing" Dinah said

"Shut up, dinah" I said while hiding my face because, even though I didn't think it was possible, I started blushing even more

"hey just coming to check on camila" Dr. Hernandez said while walking into the room

Perfect timing

"OK I'm done with her check up and everything looks great, but we need you stay just a couple more days just to be safe" She said

"Hey I know she's been asleep for a while but how about we give her some space" sinhue suggested

"Lauren can I talk to you before you leave" she said

"Ok. I'll be out in a second guys" I said

they all nodded and left the room. I was kinda nervous about what she wanted to talk about it. Obviously it was serious if she wanted to talk alone

"How long have I been out" she asked

"A little more than 6 months" I said

"wow" was all she said

"Yeah, and I never left your side once" I whispered but she heard the last part

"why" she asked quietly

This was it. I wanted to wait for the perfect time and now seems as good as it's gonna get. After these recent events I realized tomorrow is not promised and if I was to die tomorrow I wouldn't want to spend the rest of eternity regretting this moment.
