I shut the front door and Hayley raises an eyebrow looking at me.

"Where's your shopping?" She asks.

"You were waiting for me, so I didn't get chance to buy any."

"Right? And you went to the shops dressed like that?"

"What?" I lower my eyebrows.

"You look like you've been out all night Lay." She smirks.

"Thanks." I scoff.

She chuckles.

"Come on." She gives me a look. "Tell me the truth."

"I have!" I say walking past her to the kitchen. "Right, you wanted to see me. So what do you want to do?" I ask changing the subject.

"I've come to see you for a catch up." She says walking after me.

"Do you want some coffee?" I ask, getting two mugs out.

"Sure." She nods. "So, have you heard from Michael? I haven't heard from you since I told you I gave him your number."

"Sure you want coffee?" I ask, trying to avoid her question.

"Ha! You're trying to avoid talking about him. You were with him last night wasn't you?"

"Ok." I sigh. "Yeah, I gave in and spoke to him. But that's all. Happy?"

"Well you're the one who seems happy Lay." She smirks. "You look like you're glowing."

I smile slowly and look down.

"Your smile says it all." She chuckles.

"We just met up and spoke about things..." I say finishing the coffee.

"You spoke all night huh?" Hayley grins.

I roll my eyes, trying not to smile and pass her the mug of coffee.

"Did you sort things out?" She asks with a smirk.

I nod slowly..

"Has all that sexual frustration gone now?"

"Hayley." I smile and shake my head.

"Why are you keeping it all quiet?"

I shrug.

"Because a lot has happened between me and Michael. I think we are both still grieving a little bit too... we didn't get a chance to be with each other when I lost the baby, so all these feelings are coming back. I'm just taking things as they come at the moment."

Hayley nods.

"As they cum?"

"Hayley!" I laugh. "Stop."

She laughs.

"He's got some making up to do though Lay. He really upset you."

"I know." I nod. "We'll get there..."

She smiles.

"So I was thinking we could get a bottle of wine and watch a movie."

"Ok." I nod. "I'll just go change."

"Ok." She smirks.

ONE WEEK LATER

I look around at my almost decorated bedroom. I really like the purple.

"Michael!" I screech.

He laughs and flicks more paint off of his paint brush at me.

"Stop!" I laugh, trying to shield myself with my arms.
