Directly after the events of Chapter 24 of When I Get Home...

Lucy looked at her sister with tears in her eyes then silently made a wish, I wish for Sadie to be with her true love. She didn't want to simply send Sadie back to Paul if it wasn't the right thing to do, she had to make sure the wish worked for the right reason. Lucy blew out the candle, and within a few seconds, Sadie was gone.

There was a gust of energy and things instantly seemed inexplicably different, as if someone had hit the refresh button on the world.

Lucy looked at John, "Did you feel that?"'

He nodded, looking puzzled, "Yeah..."

Lucy went home that night and googled Sadie Roberts with shock at what she found. The Wikipedia article about her, didn't have her placed under "Sadie Roberts" but "Sadie McCartney".

Lucy immediately did more digging and gathered plenty of information. Some of the facts that she found were obviously not true, and she guessed they must have been used as a cover story since no one would believe time travel. All sources said that Sadie McCartney was born in America in 1945. She met Paul McCartney in September of 1963, after seeing the Beatles in concert, and the two married in December of 1965. Sadie found out that she was barren in the year following the breakup of the Beatles but after giving up hope of a family, they miraculously were able to have one little girl in fall in 1975 who they named Lucy.

Lucy smiled and bit back tears at the sweet gesture. Do I really mean the much to them? She wondered, feeling shocked that she actually made that great of an impact for them to name their only child after her.

Her elation soon ended, however, as she read something that made her heart drop, and forced pools of water to drip out of her eyes. Sadie McCartney died of breast cancer in the summer of 2000.

Lucy was stunned as the tears fell. She expected that once Sadie was sent back, Lucy would be visited by a very old version of her, but now that idea was impossible. She really was gone forever. Dead before Lucy was even born.

Despite Lucy's grief, she had to know more, so she wiped her eyes, and continued to dig. She looked at google images of Sadie and saw her sister in all stages of her life. She saw pictures back from 1963 where she looked just the same as the last time she'd seen her, and she also saw pictures from the 80s and 90s where she was growing old with Paul.

She logged on to Youtube and looked up "Paul McCartney's wife Sadie McCartney" A number of videos popped up and Lucy clicked on the first one she saw. Sadie wasn't in the video, it appeared to be from late 1965, an interview of the boys.

The interviewer held the microphone out to Paul, "Now Paul, we must congratulate you on your recent engagement." He said.

Paul smiled brightly, "Thanks very much, it's great y'know, I'm very excited."

"Do you think we'll be seeing more of this Sadie girl as your wedding approaches or after you're married."

Paul pursed his lips, "I don't know really, I've been teaching her the guitar y'know. She's getting good, perhaps we'll bring her on as a Beatle." He joked. The other three laughed and John playfully pushed him, "You wish."

Paul grinned, "Oh come on I think she'd be a great addition, we could kick you out to make room." He said to John.

Lucy clicked out of the video and pulled up another one, this time from the 80s. Sadie was in the thumbnail sitting beside Paul. Her hair was shorter and she looked more mature.

"Michael was great, yeah. I mean he was really just a nice guy, I'm glad I got to meet him, that's one of the perks of marrying a Beatle I suppose." Sadie said with a smile, her American accent had strangely morphed into something a lot more British.
