Lydia didn't press him about going home again but by the second day of them catching up he had made up his mind.

"I want to go back to Beacon Hills with you." He announced while they were eating takeout he had ordered, neither of them wanting to go anywhere this soon after reuniting.

The look of surprise on Lydia's face was enough to make him laugh and although he was filled with anxiety at the thought of seeing everyone again he was excited too. He had missed them and knew it was time to finally face them, no matter the outcome.

"Don't look so shocked." He laughed, leaning forward to grab a slice of pizza from the box in front of him.

"I'm sorry it's just you were all about keeping everyone in the dark. What made you change your mind?" She questioned, looking as though she thought he would suddenly change his mind again.

"You helped me realise how much I actually missed everyone and wanted to go home as well as how much I am hurting everyone by staying away." He confessed.

He knew everyone was going to be in Beacon Hills for the weekend for a monthly pack thing they had been doing as some kind of tradition since he had 'died' as a way to stay close to everyone and spend time together. It warmed him that they had been doing this since he had died to check up on everyone but he also guessed that, in the beginning, it had been to help with the grief, much like what he, Scott and Lydia did in the months after Allison's death.

"When do you want to see everyone?"

"Tomorrow. You said the whole pack would be in Beacon Hills for the weekend so it would be the best time to see everyone again. That and if it's any later I'm worried I'll chicken out."

"Okay. I'll text Jackson and let him know what is going on and then you can pack. We'll set out early tomorrow morning." Lydia stated, practically running to the kitchen counter where she had plugged in her phone.

"Sure, I'll go call Irene." He replied, leaving the room to talk to his boss.

It didn't take long for her to pick up the phone.

"Mitch? How is it going with your friend?"

"Good. I was calling to ask if I could extend my time off."

"Don't tell me she has convinced you to finally see your family again?"

"I'll just say Lydia has helped me realise how much I am hurting everyone by staying away and how much I really miss them."

"You may have the time off then and we'll put it down as a long-overdue holiday. I know you don't want to admit the fact that you're scared to face them but you'll be fine Rapp. Good luck."

"Thanks, Irene." He replied before hanging up the phone and heading back into the living room to find Lydia practically buzzing in happiness.

"So you're going to pack and then we'll head out at around 9 to give you most of the afternoon to catch up with everyone." She said, pushing him in the direction of his bedroom to grab some clothes and anything else he will need.

He couldn't help but smile at how happy she was that he was going to go home and he knew that he felt the same. No matter what happened tomorrow he was glad to be going back and at least seeing everyone again, he owed them that much.
