Namjoon

It was a peaceful morning, compared to every other. There weren't any loud cars or some kids yelling outside at 7 o'clock in the morning. Though, the birds were still chirping with all of their might, like every other morning, but Namjoon could tolerate that. At least he thought so.

He dragged his feet against the rough asphalt holding the strap of the black backpack on his shoulder, his thoughts rushing through his mind. Spacing out, Namjoon looked at the grey material and when he finally decided to lift his head up Namjoon was greeted by a very familiar dark-haired, short figure. Suddenly, a smile grew on his face as he knew who it was.

It took a few seconds before they got to each other but when they did, a smile was thrown back and forth, followed by the same, boring greeting.

Namjoon feels like he knew Yoongi forever. They were best friends since their kindergarten days and probably everyone in the town knew the edgy bad-boy, seemingly only friends with Namjoon and a piano and his smart, but a troublemaker too, friend. Namjoon remembers the day when they met too well, if you ask me, even if it was fourteen years ago.

Yoongi was that kid everyone wanted to be friends with, but not because he was friendly or radiated sunshine like their other friend, Hoseok but because he was quiet and mysterious. He barely talked and had this intimidating look. 4 year-old Yoongi was the only kid who dared to talk back to the babysitters and everyone thought that he was either crazy, or too brave for his own good.

They were walking down the street, talking about random shit that was happening in their lives, chuckling from time to time.

Once they passed their school doors, two figures came in front of them, making them stop. One of them was a tall boy with broad shoulders, dressed in a cute sweatshirt, his blond hair complimenting its colour nicely. Another boy was a slightly shorter one, his pink hair standing out of the crowd easily.

The two boys stopped in the middle of the path and shared a quick hug, while Namjoon and Yoongi shared a confused look. It didn't last long though, because they shoved the boys slightly and just walked past rolling their eyes.

Both of them chatted for a bit while walking through the loud hallway, seeing some people quickly turn around or walk to the other side, which was...quite funny to Namjoon. How feared they were. People had this image of Namjoon and Yoongi, that they were drug addicts, beating people up for fun and getting drunk every chance they get.

Sure, they weren't innocent and both of them knew that but it was surely entertaining to hear those made up stories, to see and hear how far people's imagination can go.

They parted ways when the math class came in view and Yoongi said a quick "see you later" while opening the door and disappearing behind it, leaving Namjoon to go to his own class by himself.

Yoongi

Walking in, Yoongi didn't really bother glancing at anyone sitting in the classroom even though he himself got a handful of looks, just like every single time. It was quite tiring, if he was honest. Always being feared, making him the center of attention.

Like you would expect from a person who isn't really interested in socializing or being a top class student and would rather sleep throughout the lessons, Yoongi walked to his desk in the back and lazily put his things aside, pulling out his phone and waiting for the bell to ring.

Time passed rather quickly and Yoongi somehow didn't even hear the female teacher coming with an unknown, pink-haired boy (with really plump lips and cute doe eyes) by her side, who has eyeing the class curiously.

"Everyone, this is Park Jimin," said the teacher. Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. A student in the middle of the school year? That's strange. "He came here all the way from Busan and I'm hoping you'll treat him nicely." she shot a warm smile to the short boy beside her. "Jimin, you can sit where ever you want and if you need something, just ask me or anyone in the class."

The boy now known as Park Jimin just nodded softly, without saying a word and looked around the class again. He started walking towards the back and oh no, Yoongi isn't sure if he likes where this is going.

Just as if he could read thoughts, he sat right next to Yoongi, even though there were a lot of available seats, he just had to chose this particular one. Believe me, Yoongi tried to stay as humane as possible, thinking that this is a free country but he couldn't help, but just curse Jimin out in his mind.

As Yoongi looked around the class, he realized he wasn't the only one giving Jimin a weird look. The rest of the class was looking at their desk, more specifically at Jimin, probably thinking he was either suicidal or just crazy.

Jimin looked like he couldn't care less about the strange glances he got. The pink-haired boy just pulled out his notebook and started copying everything  written on the whiteboard. His writing was fast but somehow neat and Yoongi was once again - a bit creeped out because he himself, in those long three years of highschool has never written something from the board.

What a strange one...
