Who am I?

Hey! My name's Lana, I'm 21 (as of 2023)
I'm a senior in college whose always had a passion for reading and writing. I major in Linguistics and Foreign Languages.
I'm a huge Taylor Swift, Harry Potter, and The Hunger Games fan. If you have any common interests with me lmk! :)

Why did I write this book?

So, I'm an athlete myself.
I've been a volleyball player since I was 4! Yes, 4! I definitely got a lot of criticism about how I shouldn't be an athlete so I wouldn't get injured because "women are delicate" *ugh*

I know a girl volleyball player wouldn't get as much criticism as a girl American football player would get. (Before anyone says so.)

I also wanted to write something that encourages women to do anything they want and chase their dreams. They shouldn't have to not play a sport just because it's deemed "manly"

And I'd like to say that guys also shouldn't have to not play a certain sport just because it's "womanly" like ballet for example.

The point is, do what you want. Screw stereotypes, you know?

2018 Lana would've said daily, but I don't think my schedule allows me to post that often anymore. *sighs in I-hate-responsibilities*
