Chapter 9: Briar's Party

Male Narrator:
Daring and Scott entered Ever After High and on their way to the school hall where Briar said the party would be.

Female Narrator:
Daring pushed the door open easily with his beast strength. But it's pitch black and no sign of Briar or their friends.

"I don't get it. Briar said that the party would be-"Scott began, but was cut off by everyone jumping out, yelling "Surprise!"

Daring and Scott, both amazed, laughs at their friends.

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty And The Beast!" announced Briar, walking up to them, throwing her hands in the air.

"Briar, you did all of this for me and Daring?" Scott said.

"Yep. To celebrate Ever After High's first forever after gay couple!"

Everyone cheered and clapped for the couple.

"Thank you so much, Briar!" Scott cried, hugging his twin sister.

"You're welcome. Now, let's PARTY!"

Sparrow Hood and Melody Piper blasted off with their music and everyone starts dancing.

Daring and Scott had the time of their life. They partied, had fun with friends and all sorts of things that's too much to name.

"All right, Ever After High. I got a special request from Daring Charming!" announced DJ Piper, handing Daring the mic.

"Scott, my love, this song is for you, showing my unconditional love to you."

Everyone clapped and cheered for Daring. He sang every note, every chorus, everything just right! He looks at Scott, his love who's literally crying.

Daring jumps off the stage, landing on all fours in front of Scott. He pulls Scott into a hug, holding him tightly, never letting him go.

"I love you so much, Scott Beauty. Always, forever after and ever."

"I love you too, Daring," sniffed Scott.

Daring lifts Scott's chin up with his index finger, looking him straight in the eye and kisses him.

They break the kiss and just hug.

"Daring," Briar called, "Can we talk?"

Daring kisses his boyfriend on the forehead, telling him he will be right back and walked over to Briar.

"Yes, Briar?" Daring smiles.

"Listen, I forgave you when Scott told me that he forgave you. But if something like that forever after happened again when you yelled at him that day, I'm afraid you can't be with him or even near him. Got it?"

Daring shuddered. He hated that day when he yelled at Scott and for making him cry. And he can't stand being away from his Scott. That's when he made a promise.

"Briar, I promise you that I never forever after hurt Scott like that again. I will love and protect him no matter what. And I'm sorry. Friends?" Daring holds out his paw to Briar.

Briar smiles. "Friends." and shakes his paw.

Daring smiled and went back to go dancing with his boyfriend/mate.
