Y/N arrived at the planet of Earth and landed on a nearby roof. He summoned a pair of blue binoculars and began to look around. He saw a lot of Green Lanterns guarding what looked like something of importance. He put the binoculars away and flew off to meet them. He landed nearby and one of the Green Lanterns pointed at him. Before he knew it, he was surrounded by Green Lanterns. One of them landed in front of him

"Who the hell are you?!" They demanded. Y/N cleared his throat
"I am the Spectrum Lantern. The Embodiments themselves chose me as one" He replied. A larger Green Lantern laughed
"What a load of rubbish. They wouldn't pick you. They would pick someone more deserving, like a-" Before they could say anything else, Y/N summoned a purple construct of a truck above the Green Lantern
"Want to repeat that?!" Y/N shouted and the Green Lantern immediately shut up. The Green Lantern who first spoke held out a hand
"Hal Jordan. What's your name?" He asked. Y/N slowly shook his hand
"Y/N L/N" He replied. Hal was curious
"So, where are you from?" John asked. Y/N looked down
"From Corona Zephyrus...It was destroyed years ago. I'm the last of my people, the Zephyrons" He replied with a sad tone. Hal was shocked
"That's...a lot to take in. I'm real sorry to hear about that" He said, placing a hand on Y/N's shoulder. Y/N nodded
"Do you have any other allies?" Y/N asked and as if on cue, some other people landed behind him. The other Green Lanterns, aside from Hal, went off to patrol their sectors now that they had finished their guarding duty of whatever it was they were guarding
"Who is this Hal?" A being in an outfit with what looked like a bat on the chestplate said to Hal.

"His name is Y/N, Bruce" Hal replied before someone next to the person called Bruce spoke up. Y/N noticed this person had wings sprouting from her back

"Whoever he is, he looks like he has promise as a hero. Should we take him with us?" she asked, admiring his armor. Y/N liked the idea of being a hero, but even more so of fighting alongside this woman. He was thankful he had his helmet on, so she couldn't see him blushing and his expression of love
"Sounds like a good idea. Hawkgirl, will you be ok with him staying with you for the time being?" Hal asked. The person who you now knew as Hawkgirl looked at you with a smile
"Sure. Kinda want to see what he looks like under that helmet" she replied with a smile and Y/N's blush under his helmet increased. While Hal talked about Y/N to Bruce, Hawkgirl took Y/N up to a roof to talk about his past. The two of them sat on a roof looking over the lit city
"So, you're what they call a Spectrum Lantern, right?" She asked with curiosity. Y/N nodded a little, his helmet disappearing. When Hawkgirl got a look at his face, she blushed a little too. Y/N sighed sadly before he began to explain his past
"I was born on the planet Corona Zephyrus in the galaxy of Eioneus. My home was destroyed just after i got on a ship and left. I have no idea how my home was destroyed, but it was. I'm the last of my people now. My ship picked up no life signs, which meant no one else survived. I was lost, until i came across these beings. They called themselves the Emotional Entities. I found out that they powered each Lantern Corps. They trained me for years and helped me learn to balance my emotions. But a part of me is lost. I witnessed an entire planet die. I want to forget it. But i just can't..." Y/N's voice trailed off as he couldn't hold it anymore. He held his face in his hands as he let his sadness out, tears falling down his face and onto the roof the two were standing on. Hawkgirl hesitated at first, but slowly placed her hand on his back and gently rubbed his back in an attempt to comfort him. Suddenly Y/N felt something around him and slowly stopped crying to see Hawkgirl hugging him. He slowly hugged her back. The two of them slowly broke away. Hawkgirl placed a hand on Y/N's shoulder
"Y/N, the team I'm with is like a family. I'm sure they'll help you let go of that awful memory" Hawkgirl said to him in a gentle and caring voice. Y/N nodded a little and the two of them looked out over the city once more
"Maybe being here can help me more than i realise" Y/N said to himself, not realising Hawkgirl had heard. She smiled at Y/N. To her, he was more handsome than the men she fought with. She'd be more than happy to see what he can do. She'd heard from Hal that the Blue Lanterns were strongest. She was eager to see what the Spectrum Lantern would be capable of
