A day after the missile incident, Y/N was driving down the road touring through the city on your bike.
You've used to live in a small town before your father was deployed to Afghanistan. You and your mother moved to Metroville since she started a new job as a surgeon.
You then stop at the newspaper and smile at the front page. It shows the article of how the Green Lantern saved the city from the runaway missile.
"Hey there kid. You new around here?" The clerk asked you.
"Yep. I just moved in yesterday." You said.
"Today's your lucky day. It's on the house." He then gives you the newspaper and you walk towards your bike. Then all of a sudden there was rumbling. You look at hear people screaming. You see them running in fear. You turn to the clerk.
Y/N: Take cover!
He nods in agreement and shuts the gate to the newspaper stand. You then see an ally and run to it. You then pull out your lantern and quickly insert your ring into it.
"In Brightest Day, in Blackest Night. No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power! Green Lantern's Light." You said the oath.
After you said the oath, you changed into your Green Lantern uniform and quickly take to the air. You follow sound before you land on the roof of a building and you were stunned to see what is in front of you.

A giant ball shaped robot with legs is attacking the city and the people. Then you hear a scream and you quickly look and see a family in red suits. Then the robot targets two of them and has then trap.
"Violet! Dash! NO!!" You heard the woman said.
You quickly rush into action. You use your power ring and quickly grab the kids and get them out quickly to safety. You then take them near a building and you look at them. The blonde kid was short than the girl and half her size. But when you look at the teenage girl, your heart seemed to have stop. She was beautiful to you especially in her suit.

The girl named Violet just stares at you in awe. She has never seen a boy your age that cute before.
