[01] Returning

~ 2 years later ~

Today was the day that I would finally return to Hawkins, Indiana. Well not only me. Also my son, Flynn Brown. I was scared to return but knowing that my best friend and my brother will be waiting for me, makes this whole situation less scary. Even tho I still don't know how he will react. We walked to the big hall where Sadie and Noah would be waiting. As we walked in, I immediately saw them. I dropped my bags and run up to them. "We missed you so much!" They both said "I missed you guys too." I told them with tears in my eyes. Tears of being glad to be home again. "Mommy, who are these people?" Flynn asked. "Flynn, these are your aunt Sadie and your uncle Noah." "Hey, Flynn." They both said to him. You could already see on the look on his face that he liked them. "Hi auntie Sadie! Hi uncle Noah!" Flynn said with a exited voice. She laughed a little bit at her son. Every time she looks at him, he reminds her so much of him. She still loved him to much, she never stopped. "How is he?" I asked Noah and Sadie. "Girl, you just got back! Let's not talk about him." Sadie said to me. "Mh k" I said, even tho I still needed to know if he moved on. We all walked towards the car when Sadie suddenly got a call. "Oh, it's Caleb. Be right back." She said to us. "So, what's going on between Sadie and Caleb?" I asked Noah. "So she hasn't told you yet?" "Told me what?" I asked him. "She and Caleb are together." He said. I was so happy for her. Sadie always had this huge crush on Caleb, and now they're finally together. Then Sadie came back. "Caleb just invitied us to come over at Finn's place." She said a little bit in shook. "Well, what did you say?" I asked her. One side of me wanted to go so bad, but the other side wanted that we could just go home. "I told him that I would let him know." She said. "Let's go home, shall we." Noah said.

I still don't know if I want to go. And even if I would go, What am I gonna do with Flynn? I can't just leave him home alone. And I couldn't take him with me. I also didn't know a person who can babysit him. My thoughts where interuppted by Flynn running towards my while calling me. "Mommy, mommy, can we go to the park?" He asked me. "Of course sweetie." I said to him. I walked towards Noah and Sadie. "Guys, sorry but I'm not comming with you." I told them. You could see the dissapointment in Sadie's face. "Why not?" She asked me. "I'm going to the park with Flynn. But that doesn't mean you can't go." I said to them. "Okay, but next time your comming with us." She said to me. "I'll think about it." I said. I turned around too see that Flynn tried to put on his shoes. I giggled a little at the sight. It looked so cute. I quickly put on my own shoes and then walkes towards him to help him. "I'll never learn it." He said with sadnes. "Of course you will learn it, you just need some time." I told him. I saw the smile return on his face. Then we walked out the door and towards the park.

While Flynn was feeding the ducks, I was reading a book. It was my favorite book, but still I would cry whenever I read it. Why? Because it reminds me of the life I had with Finn. The life I could still have. Look, I'm not regretting being pregnant. Flynn is the best thing that happened to me, but maybe if I told him I would still have a life with him. But on the other hand, if he didn't want to raise the baby with me, he would've left me. "Enjoing what your reading?" A voice behind me asked. The voice sounded sad but so familiair. I turned around and there was he.

Caleb invited everyone to my place. Great. Even tho it would only be me, Caleb, Gaten, Sadie and Noah. Seeing the brother of the love of your life hurts. Since she broke up with, life has been a hell. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I even couldn't walk out the door. I was so depressed when she broke up with me. After our break up, no one saw her. Not even her brother. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I opened the door the see the gang standing there. "Hey guys." I said. "Hey Finn!" The gang said. "Wow Noah, about what are you Suddenly so exited?" I asked him. I hadn't seen him smile since Millie was gone. "Oh, uhm, nothing." He said. I just let it go, I'm not in the mood for it.

Everyone started talking about Millie. It's already 2 years after Millie dissapeared. This was becomming to much for me. I had to get out of here. I put on my shoes and walked out the door for a walk. I had no idea where I would go, I just followed my feet. I walked into the park. Then I saw our spot. I started to walk faster so I didn't have to be there. That's when I saw her.

"Enjoing what your reading?" I asked her. You could hear the sadnes in my voice. As she turned around to look who's behind her, I just stared into the most beautiful brown eyes. God I missed those eyes. "Uhm, hi." She said while standing up, clearly surprised to see me. "Where have you been?" I asked. I just needed to know it. "That's none of your business." She said. It almost looked like she was nervous, but that couldn't be true. Right? "Why not? You broke up with me and then your just gone? Just te-" I was cut off by a kid running towards Millie. "Mommy, who is that?" The kid said. She has a kid? Is that why she left me? She wanted a kid with someone else? "No one sweetie, just go and play a little more." She told him. After the kis was gone, I started talking again. "So, you have a kid now. How old is he?" I asked. "2 years." She almost whispered. If he already 2 years is, then she left me for someone else. She left me because she didn't love me anymore. Maybe she was already pregnant of him. Now I wanted to know more. "What is his name?" I asked. "His name is Flynn, named after is father." She said. "Where is his father actually?" I asked starting to get really curious. "Uhm..... he- he isn't around anymore." She said really nervous this time. "What do you mean, he isn't around anymore?" I asked. His father couldn't be dead right. "He- I left him when I-" "When you what?" I asked. "You know I don't even know why I'm telling you all this. It is none of your business!" She screamed. I think Flynn heard her screaming because he was now standing next to her, holding tight on to her leg. "Is this man bothering you?" A man asked Millie. "Actually yes." She said. "Uhm actually, we have this under control. I'm her boyfriend." I accendently said. She turned around with tears in her eyes. She starts running towards me and gave me a tight hug. I kissed away her tears as I watched the man leave. "Mommy, who is this?" Flynn asked again. "Flynn, this is.... uhm." She looked at me like she was thinking if she should tell him. "He is just a friend sweetie." She said to him. "Is that what we are now? Friends?" I ask her when Flynn walks back to the playground. "Well, it's a good place to start." She said. I agreed with her as she cuddled up next to me on the bench.

Well, this chapter sucks. Sorry that I didn't post this sooner, I had to go to the doctor. And after that I was tired the whole day (I even slept the whole day) and I was waiting till it got away. So I took a little break, but I'm back now!Word count: 1370
