Y/N: Well, that's the last one.

You finished unloading the last box from the moving van. At 16 you finally moved to your new apartment. You grab a picture and it shows your dad, mom, and you. Your dad was in the army while mom is a doctor.

You look around and see nobody was watching. You secretly reach into your pocket and pull out your power ring.

Recently, you were chosen by the Green Lantern after one of them crash landed here. You use the ring and it starts organizing everything item you have and they are put in place. Your bed has been made, your kitchen is already set up, and ect.

After finishing up, you make some coffee and you sat and watch TV. You laugh at  (your favorite show) before it gets inturrupted.

New: We interrupt this program for a new bullet. Apparently, a runaway missile is heading for for the city. Local authorities indicated that the missile could be armed with a chemical warhead. Everyone is to evacuate the streets immediately.

You quickly turn off the television.

Y/N: Ring, how much time before the missile hits?

Ring: Time of impact: 10 minutes.

You quickly look out balcony and see people fleeing from the threat.

Y/N: They won't be able to get out in time. I have to stop it myself.

You clenched your fist before your ring glows and it transforms you into your Green Lantern uniform.

You take out your battery and say the oath

Y/N: In Brightest Day, in Blackest Night. No Evil shall escape my sight. Let those worship Evil's might. Beware my power, Green Lantern's Light!

You take to the skies to stop the missile. You look and see the missile flying towards its target.

You fly towards and land on top of it. You can't destroy the missile with the warhead attached to it. You will have to disarm it before destroying it. You use your ring and open the hatch. You manage to hack into the system. You look at the time and you only have 7 minutes left.

You quickly hack through the firewall before you manage to disarm the warhead. The warhead spins out and it flies off. You look and see the warhead falling towards the ocean. You smiled knowing the people are safe.

Meanwhile a news van is broadcasting the live event.

Female news cast: Well, Jeff the city people were forced to evacuate while the missile is on route.

Then she sees something green flying over them.

Cameraman: Heather look!

Heather looks and sees the green object heading for the missile.

Heather: Jeff, I'm seeing what appears to be some kind of green item and it's heading for the missile.

From the sky, a news helicopter films the tracking of the missile. It then sees  a green shape man on the missile before beginning to disarm it.

Newsman: Hold on, I am seeing someone on the missile and.... he managed to disarm the warhead.

Meanwhile, you fly underneath the missile and begin pushing it upwards towards the sky. You then charge up your ring and fire a full laser blast at the missile. The green beam manages to strike the fuel tank and it blows the projectile into a huge fireball.

Newsman: I don't believe this! That green figure has destroyed the missile!

The camera Zoom and it shows you looking at the camera before flying off.

Newsman: It appears to be a kid who saved us all.

You flew back to town and see people gathering around. They then started to applaud.

News: It appears that the missile has been destroyed by a teen in green. Is this a new age of heroes? Find out more. From Channel 7 News, this is Jeff Bryans.

You returned home after your mission  and smiled. This is only the beginning of your new life here in Metroville...
