A heist gone in a different direction

The rain had unexpectedly show up It hadn't been planned ,but I spose it was better Keeping us slightly more hidden.The cold drops tickled down my chin and cheek line, I could feel my hair dampening. I turned to my right, I had caught a glimpse dust mubeling something.I'm sure he made a comment about the weather.The alleyway we were currently in was in a rather bad state. I liked it. 

My head snapped up to the sound of a whisper close to me. I calmed dow when I realised it was fell, or as I liked to call him edgy. 

"Error said to get ready." He spoke with full focus, I couldn't help but grin.

"Ok pup" I then signaled for him to get out of my space. The dim glow of the broken street light somehow comforted me.i saw movement from error, he was heading in. I ran close behind keeping a somewhat reasonable distance, my role was guard from the sides and behind. While running at least.

I planted my feet on the wet concrete roof of the bank, I scanned the street looking for any sign of life before staggering over to the vent and climbing through.

The bells were rattling away, I had hummed along with the alarm. This was the third time we had done this, the last time they got lust. No one honestly felt that bad about it really, horror was a bit more upset although he wouldn't admit it. The rest of the guys were organising how to carry the cash when I looked to the left and I saw nightmare jump off the roof .first I felt worried till I remembered we could teleport. I'm a dexterous person along with the Others.

 I saw some vines creeping down from the roof. Those will do. I took ahold of the thick vines and slode down. It wasn't till I got to the bottom and looked up that I had realised... a girl with long blonde hair standing under a street light had seen everything.

I Called up toward the guys telling them a witness was here.

"Guys! We got eyes, close"

I waited for a response. "Kill" was all I heard. After that I took a step forward from where I had been standing, the blonde girl seemed to have taken a step back at the exact same time. Sorry kid, nothing personal. My paced walking turned into a run, I could see she turned and ran. She looked like she knew the place, she may have had that advantage but I was a lot faster. Within a few minuets I was a couple meters from grabbing her.

He was gaining on me pretty quickly, good. I turned around a sharp corner, if I wasn't correct there should be a dead end,ops I took a wrong turn. He wouldn't actually kill me would he? I didn't do anything wrong!?

I pulled to a halt. I felt a sharp pain in my skulp, he had ahold of my hair. I forced myself to swallow. The only way I could possibly live was to negotiate. Everything was happening so fast, he had already pinned me against the wall, he held my wrist tight.

"Listen, whoever you are I won't tell anyone!" Wow, I sounded so desperate

His grin got wider, I immediately assumed he was a narcissist considering he smiled at my cry for help.

"Can't do that princess. After all, it's kill or be killed" he then dragged one of my wrist to meet my other wrist, freeing one of his hands he summoned a knife through thin air. I was Kind of impressed. He held it threating close to my neck. I prepared myself for the sharp cut where I would slowly bleed to death, but it didn't... 

his expression had changed completely from a phyco to as if he'd seen a ghost.i took this chance to knee him in the nuts. He let go of my wrist taking a step back dropping the knife. I swoped in and picked up the knife faster than light.

"What was it? Kill or be killed." Mocking his words. I would never kill someone, I dropped the knife and started running when I heard him yell something faint I hadn't heard much but a certain word made me stop dead in my tracks...

Nightmare.

I blinked the water out of my eyes. Nightmare... my brother... I thought he had died. What did this guy know about him. I didn't trust him, I pulled away from my curiosity picking up my pace again.

————§Cross pov§————

I was examining her closer as I held her against the wall, her face... it seemed at to familiar. Suddenly I remembered the picture that hung in nightmares mantion, a young black haired women smiling at the two children hugging her tightly one with a golden crown with two spirals and a long cape and the other with a crown with a small moon on it and wore a purple suit kind of outfit with yellow fringes. It was hard to tell actually the picture had large claw marks through all their faces but the small purple one was practically torn off completely. 

This girl... she looked like the one in the picture. She even had the stupid little crown... could she be... no way.

Before I could open my mouth a sharp pain came from "below", that little snake! I fadingly saw her run off, I called from behind her.

"You know nightmare don't you!"

She came to a halt for a moment it looked as if she was going to turn around and answer before I lost her in the shadows as she ran off.

As stupid as it sounds. I hope to see her again.
