I woke up because of an incredible pain back of my head "Aghhh, my head. What happened? Where am I?" I questioned myself "Damn, my head still hurt a lot from whatever hits me"
I take a look around me and it's all covered in dead trees, craters all over the place. I noticed a helmet next to me, there's a bullet stuck right in it, almost pierced through the armor inside. This might explain what happened to me I think, then I also noticed that I'm wearing an army uniform, I took a look at the name tag and notice the name
"Sergeant H.Alexander, 102nd Infantry Division. Interesting... Now I'm a military personnel!"
I saw a few degrading bodies nearby the craters and also a few weapons scattered around. I took a Mosin Nagant near a body and the remaining clips, still I haven't figured out yet where I am. I searched my pockets to find something useful that can tell where I am before all of this happened
"Knife... Compass, map.... Ah ha! A journal!" I flipped through the pages and read it "August 16th ,We're issued to pushed up against German lines in the town nearby. I hope this turn well as always, hope they don't fire a shit ton of machine gun barrage at me and my comrades, that would be a shitty death haha!"
I flipped through more pages, some seem to be ripped out for unknown reason. But the last page I read have some information that I need
" October 10th, The last of our regiment is getting wiped out! Damn Germans and their flamethrowers! Pray to God that I survived this, reinforcements from Moscow never came as they promised. We're hiding in a forest west of a town and surrounded, Anya if there's anyhow you found this. Please hide and take our son with you."
Seem like things gone petty bad and German snipers took me out for a good time. It's time for me to head East and found someone who can help me. I packed up the stuff that I scavenged from the dead soldiers and move on to the East, hoping I can find some answer there
