Hey guys! Here's a brand new chapter just in time. I hope you all enjoy it!

I was standing in front of the mirror staring at my reflection.

“You look beautiful, Juliet. Stop staring at your reflection.” Emma was sitting on my bed reading one of those fashion magazines while I was almost freaking out about my looks. You see, today was the night of Michael’s show and I wanted to be on my best.

“I don’t know… should I leave my hair down? Is my make up good? What about my clothes? I should have put my jeans on; I don’t feel comfortable in this…”

“Juliet, calm down!” I heard her laugh at my ridiculous face. “I’m sure Mikey will find you gorgeous.”

“Mikey? Who said anything about Mikey?”

“Oh, c’mon Julie, it’s written in your face that you like him. And I’m almost certain that he likes you too.” My cousin got up from the bed and stood right next to me. I was preparing myself to deny my feelings for Mikey when she interrupted me. “And don’t you dare saying you don’t feel that way about him. Everyone knows the truth.”

“Well, I really don’t care about those feelings. Mikey is my friend and that’s all.” I really didn’t want to talk about that subject. It was a fact that I liked him more than a friend but that was wrong. He was my first guy friend in so many years who didn’t felt embarrassed to be seen with me. He was smart and funny. And I liked him. However I wasn’t willing to end our friendship because of something as dull as love. Speaking of love I didn’t even know what it was like to love someone, it had never happened to me before so I didn’t gave it the importance everyone else did.

“If you say so… Look, Frank is outside waiting for me. Will you be mad if I go with him?”

“Are you seriously going to leave me alone tonight?! I don’t even know how to get to the club!”

“Don’t worry about that, Frank told me he got you a ride. Now, don’t freak out because you look stunning. See you later!” And the next moment she ran downstairs to meet her shorty date. Lately they we’re always together giggling and smiling. It was actually funny too see two people like them liking each other in the way they did. For moments I wished Mikey and I would end up the same way but then I realized it was so much better if everything stayed the same. We did so many things together and had so much fun. We didn’t need anything else at all.

Everything was perfect just as it was… right?

“Juliet, darling, there is a boy downstairs waiting for you.” My mother knocked on my door talking like she lived in the 50’s. Oh well, at least she didn’t dramatized so much about my sudden change. “You could have told me you have a boyfriend.”

“Mom, I don’t have a boyfriend. That’s probably just Mikey to pick me up.”

“Well, but it isn’t.”

“Then it’s probably Ray or Bob. Is he blonde or really hairy?”

“Actually, it is a handsome young man with black hair. He’s wearing a suit. You see, Juliet, whoever he is I think you should bring him for dinner. He’s very polite and lovely.”

“And how do you know that just buy talking to him for five minutes or so?” I chuckled. My mother always judge people by the first two minutes of conversation, sometimes she didn’t have to talk to people to make an opinion about them.

“Oh, no dear. It’s not like that at all. He’s been sitting downstairs talking to us for almost half an hour.”

“Mom! Why didn’t you call me earlier?”
