Okay.. you can kill me now! I've been so busy with school, and I lost my imagination and I know I don't have any excuse buuuut here's your brand new chapter! Thank you so much for reading it and for being patient. I promise the story will get better. And now we even have a new character! Everyone, meet Emma!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next days I ignored Gerard completely. I didn’t care about what he wanted to say to me. What other lies he wanted to tell me. So I spent the following days thinking about what I should do to improve my look.

I didn’t know what to do. How in the world would I look prettier and less nerdy? It was time for an extreme makeover and that required backup. So I called my cousin Emma.

She was my age and she lived quite close to my house. Emma could help me without any problem! Well… except for the fact my mom didn’t want me to look like a slut. Even that wouldn’t be a problem; I would never dress like a slut. Ha! Two points for Juliet.

It was time to start my plan to become pretty.

“Hey girl!” I heard Emma’s voice at the other side of the phone. “So, what’s up?”

“Remember I told you I was sick of being teased and alone?”

“Yes, you told me that like a hundred times.”  She chuckled.

“Well, it’s time for a change! I’ve had enough and honestly I don’t care about what my mom thinks. She just wants me to be like this to impress her friends. I want to be happy Emma…”

“You know what that means, right?”

“You’ll help me?”

“Yes, but most important: it’s shopping time!”

Do you know those comedy films when the nerdy girl is shopping with the hot friend and she’s always trying to make that girl dress something more… normal?! Okay, so picture that in my life.

Me and Emma spent several hours shopping, shopping and guess what? Shopping! I spent all my savings in clothes, makeup and shoes. Besides she took her own money and bought me more clothes, more makeup and more shows. Oh, and she even paid for our dinner!

The thing I loved the most about my cousin is that even though I was a nerd she didn’t mind that at all! And she had a great taste in clothes! We bought some skirts (way shorter than mine!), skinny jeans which made my butt look bigger, many lovely dresses, and tops. We also bought loads of shoes! High heels! Honestly I didn’t know how I was going to wear high heels since I had never worn high heels! However I was willing to wear them if I wanted to look pretty.

“Now, we need to start your makeover! My place or your place?” Then Emma got a text message. While she read it I looked around me and saw all those different people hanging out and having fun. I wanted to be like them, I wanted to have great friends and spend amazing moments with them. But I didn’t have because I was a nerd. I preferred watching Star Wars than watching “The Notebook”. I had a Master Yoda puppet on my bed, not a Justin Bieber or HSM pillow. I played with the light sabers with my next door neighbor (who, by the way, was nine years old) instead of dating and partying. Anyway, you got the point. “Forget that, you’re going to my place. We need to get you ready for a party!” Oh yeah, we were going to a party! Wait… WHAT?!
