"ARIELLA YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?!"

There it was.

"I AM SENDING DAMON TO PICK YOU UP RIGHT NOW."

And he hung up-Great.

Sighing, I got into the black Maserati to see Damon's bored face. Ignoring his face, I fastened my seatbelt.

"You know I had to waste a minute of my call contract for you. And then I had to stop my really wonderful time with Trisha for you."

"TMI," I gagged. "And I needed some extra girl time considering I live in a house with 3 guys. Plus I haven't seen Cara in like ."

Damon chuckled, starting the car. He just got his drivers license, and he's driving incredibly fast. "Girl time? What did you talk about? That boy you like? The one we beat up?"

I sighed, leaning my face on my hand, observing the lights that flew past me.

"Were you talking about how much you liked him? And how you're gonna get married? Trust me, you should just forget about him," he said, drifting around a corner.

"Shut up," I mumbled. I really liked this kid. His name was Quill. He's nice, smart funny and a gentleman. You don't find that often. I really did like him.

"He wouldn't get with you anyway." I looked down, knowing it was probably true.

He's angry Ari. Just put his words through one ear and out the other.

"He'd probably go for someone like Brianna. You know that really hot chick in your school. Like damn girl she got those looks."

Tears welled in my eyes. He's right. Quill would rather be with my bully Brianna.

Why would he go for me?

"If he ever did get with you, which will never happen, then he would leave after knowing how annoying you are. Everyone thinks that, but they never anything."

The car came to an abrupt stop outside our house. Quickly talking off my seatbelt, I got out and slammed the door.

"Don't take it out on the car idiot," Damon grumbled as he got out. My hands wiped away the tears as the front door opened.

"Me and you are talki-" Daniel began but I pushed past him, heading up the stairs and going to my room. After slamming my bedroom door shut, I took off my shoes and grabbed Nutty.

"Am I good enough for you," I muttered. Before he could answer, my door was pushed open by Damon. "If you're gonna scream at me for damaging your precious car, save it for tomorrow," I tiredly said, wiping my eyes. An audible sigh left his lips as I sat down on my bed, my back facing him.

"I'm sorry."

I didn't speak. "I was in a bad mood and I took it out on you," he explained as I felt the bed dip beside me. "I didn't mean anything I said."
